Israeli cabinet to meet Tuesday to approve Lebanon ceasefire deal

Editors Note: This ceasefire deal seems to only apply to Lebanon as Israel retains the right to bomb Lebanon anytime that they wish, so it’s not a real ceasefire deal in my opinion. Nonetheless it is newsworthy as Israel gets to withdraw it’s troops from Lebanon and refocus on the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Once again no one seems to care about what happens to the Palestinians, the Arab countries only pay them lip service.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3

From Reuters

  • Summary
  • US news website Axios: Israel and Lebanon reach agreement on deal terms
  • Lebanese officials express cautious optimism
  • Far-right Ben-Gvir: Israel should fight until ‘absolute victory’
  • Israel presses on with bombardment of Beirut’s southern suburbs

JERUSALEM/BEIRUT, Nov 25 (Reuters) – A senior Israeli official said on Monday Israel’s cabinet would meet on Tuesday to approve a ceasefire deal with Hezbollah, and a Lebanese official said Beirut had been told by Washington that an accord could be announced “within hours”.

Israeli officials had said earlier that a deal to end the war was getting closer though some issues remained, while two senior Lebanese officials voiced guarded optimism even as Israeli strikes pounded Lebanon anew.

U.S. news website Axios, citing an unnamed senior U.S. official, said Israel and Lebanon had agreed to the terms of a deal, and a senior Israeli official told Reuters Tuesday’s meeting was intended to approve it.

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said Israel would maintain an ability to strike southern Lebanon under any agreement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office declined to comment on the Axios report.

The U.S. has pushed for a deal to end over a year of hostilities between Iran-backed Hezbollah and Israel that erupted in parallel with Israel’s war against Palestinian Islamist group Hamas in Gaza, but drastically escalated over the last two months, raising fears of a wider Middle East war.

In Beirut, Lebanese Deputy Parliament Speaker Elias Bou Saab told Reuters there were “no serious obstacles” left to beginning implementation of a U.S.-proposed ceasefire with Israel.

Bou Saab said the proposal would entail an Israeli military withdrawal from south Lebanon and regular Lebanese army troops deploying in the border region, long a Hezbollah stronghold, within 60 days.

He said a sticking point on who would monitor compliance with the ceasefire been resolved in the last 24 hours with an agreement to set up a five-country committee, including France and chaired by the United States.

A Western diplomat said another stumbling block had been the sequencing of Israel’s withdrawal, the Lebanese army’s deployment and the return of displaced Lebanese to their homes in south Lebanon.

ISRAELI AIRSTRIKES ON BEIRUT CONTINUE

Hostilities have intensified in parallel with the diplomatic flurry: Over the weekend, Israel carried out powerful airstrikes, one of which killed at least 29 people in central Beirut – while the Iran-backed Hezbollah unleashed one of its biggest rocket salvoes yet on Sunday, firing 250 missiles.

In Beirut, Israeli airstrikes levelled more of the Hezbollah-controlled southern suburbs on Monday, sending clouds of debris billowing over the Lebanese capital.

Efforts to clinch a truce appeared to advance last week when U.S. mediator Amos Hochstein declared significant progress after talks in Beirut before holding meetings in Israel and then returning to Washington.

“We are moving in the direction towards a deal, but there are still some issues to address,” Israeli government spokesperson David Mencer said, without elaborating.

Michael Herzog, the Israeli ambassador in Washington, told Israel’s GLZ radio an agreement was close and “it could happen within days … We just need to close the last corners”, according to a post on X by GLZ senior anchorman Efi Triger.

A second senior Lebanese official, speaking on condition of anonymity earlier in the day, said Beirut had not received any new Israeli demands from U.S. mediators, who were describing the atmosphere as positive and saying “things are in progress”.

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah spiralled into full-scale war in September when Israel went on the offensive, pounding wide areas of Lebanon with airstrikes and sending troops into the south.

Israel has dealt major blows to Hezbollah, killing its leader Hassan Nasrallah and other top commanders and inflicting massive destruction in areas of Lebanon where the group holds sway.

Diplomacy has focused on restoring a ceasefire based on U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended a 2006 Hezbollah-Israel war.

It requires Hezbollah to pull its fighters back around 30 km (19 miles) from the Israeli border, behind the Litani River, and the regular Lebanese army to enter the frontier region.

HEZBOLLAH SAYS DEAL NOW IN ISRAEL’S HANDS

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said the test for any agreement would be in the enforcement of two main points.

“The first is preventing Hezbollah from moving southward beyond the Litani, and the second, preventing Hezbollah from rebuilding its force and rearming in all of Lebanon,” Saar said in broadcast remarks to the Israeli parliament.

Far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said Israel must press on with the war until “absolute victory”. Addressing Netanyahu on X, he said “it is not too late to stop this agreement!”.

But Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter said Israel should reach an agreement in Lebanon. “If we say ‘no’ to Hezbollah being south of the Litani, we mean it,” he told journalists.

Hezbollah leader Sheikh Naim Qassem said last week that the group had reviewed and given feedback on the U.S. ceasefire proposal, and any truce was now in Israel’s hands.

Branded a terrorist group by the United States, the heavily armed, Shi’ite Muslim militant group has endorsed Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri of the Shi’ite Amal movement to negotiate.

Israel says its aim is to secure the return home of tens of thousands of people evacuated from its north due to rocket attacks by Hezbollah, which opened fire in support of Hamas at the start of the Gaza war in October 2023.

Israel’s offensive has forced more than 1 million people from their homes in Lebanon.

The World is Turning Against Israel

For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. Revelation 16:14

I believe that scripture is what we’re seeing play out in the world today as you can see many nations who were once in full support of Israel and their “right to defend itself”, are now starting to turn against Israel, even the United States. The US State Dept. and the Pentagon sent a joint letter to Israel last weekend telling them to fix the humanitarians crisis in Gaza within 30 days or have their weapons funding cut off. That’s just for starters.

Based on recent events and statements, it appears that the world is indeed turning against Israel, with increasing condemnation and criticism of its actions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Here are some key points:

  • France: French President Emmanuel Macron called for an arms embargo on Israel, citing concerns over its military actions in Gaza.
  • Colombia: Colombian President Gustavo Petro halted coal exports to Israel, stating that Colombian coal is used to make bombs that kill Palestinian children.
  • Turkey: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned that an Israeli ground invasion of Gaza could turn into a massacre, and Turkey voted against condemning Hamas at the United Nations.
  • Egypt: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi warned that a ground invasion of Gaza would cause “many, many civilian casualties” and criticized Israel’s bombing campaign as “collective punishment” for 2.3 million people in Gaza.
  • International Organizations: The Liberal International and Renew Europe condemned Hamas’s attacks and expressed solidarity with Israel, but also recognized Israel’s right to defend itself. However, other organizations, such as the United Nations, have expressed concerns over Israel’s actions and called for a ceasefire.
  • UK Prime minister Keir Starmer: “We are considering imposing sanctions on Smotrich and Ben Gvir due to their statements regarding Gaza and the West Bank.”
  • These two Israeli politicians openly brag about the genocide they commit.

Escalating Tensions and Humanitarian Crisis

The situation on the ground in Gaza is dire, with:

  • Blockade and Siege: Israel has tightened its blockade around Jabalia in northern Gaza, killing at least 10 people queuing for food and instructing people to evacuate.
  • Humanitarian Crisis: The Palestinian economy has lost $3.4 billion (5% of annual GDP) due to Israeli restrictions in the West Bank alone.
  • Violence and Displacement: The conflict has led to widespread displacement and violence, with many Palestinians forced to flee their homes.

As you can see the world is indeed turning against Israel just as Rev. 16 predicted. I think we’re going to see things escalate quickly, not just in the Middle East but at all of the hot points around the world. Besides Israel, Iran and Hezbollah we have Ukraine/Russia, China/Taiwan and North vs South Korea all escalating at the same time. Everyone is going to want to use their nukes so I imagine India and Pakistan will get in on the fun as well.

Of course Hundreds of millions of people would be killed in an initial nuclear exchange, with potentially millions more dying in the aftermath due to radiation poisoning, famine, and other consequences. There will be very little warning time as the elites will want as much death as possible. Prayed up and prepped up, time is getting very short.

Mass Casualty Event” In Northern Israel After Hezbollah Drone Strikes IDF Soldiers

According to Haaretz reporting, at least 39 Israelis were wounded (four critically and 12 moderately to severely) after a  drone attack was launched from Lebanon targeting the Golani Brigade base in Binyamina, leading to critical injuries and fatalities in the northern Haifa district.

A bad day for Israel
Ambulances lined up
Chopper evacuation

According to Al Jazeera, at least three people are confirmed dead, with Channel 12 and the Israeli Army Radio adding that two drones were launched toward Israel, and while air defenses shot down one over the sea, a second drone “impacted the base.

The military is investigating why no sirens were activated and why no interception occurred

According to unconfirmed reports, the drone attack hit a food court where Israeli soldiers were gathered before leaving for operations in Lebanon.

The Israeli Army Radio, citing a military source, said that the Hezbollah drone attack “is the bloodiest since the beginning of the war.”

According to Drop Site News, despite widespread coverage of the attack, Israeli media outlets appear to be operating under a blackout or censorship order. Reports confirm the occurrence of the strike and the number of casualties; however, the outlets refrain from disclosing that the target was a Golani military base or that the injured were soldiers. Notably, Haaretz has also limited its reporting to press releases from rescue services and, as of this post, has not mentioned the military base.

Following the strike, Hezbollah has warned Israeli ‘settlers’ against staying near army bases in northern Israel ‘until further notice.’ It’s doubtful whether the Israeli “settlers” will follow Hezbollah’s advice.

The attack comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with many expecting a retaliation by Israel against Iran in response to the recent missile launch. While the Biden admin appears to have removed the threat to Iran’s nuclear facilities, many expect that when Israel does retaliate it will target Iran’s military infrastructure.

URGENT! IDF Begins the Invasion of Lebanon, President Putin rushed to Kremlin, UPDATE 3:34pm below video

The final battles are beginning NOW and it will only get worse from here! Prayed up and prepped up, time is very short!

UPDATE: Iran has informed Russia and China that they will NOT retaliate against Israel for the assassination of Nasrallah. Shortly after informing Iran’s two main allies, the latter’s foreign minister, Abbas Aragci, in a statement to AFP, said
«Tehran will not send fighters to Lebanon or Gaza and will only respond to Israel if its territorial integrity is threatened.

Iran was encouraged by their allies to not fall into Israel’s trap of going into open war with them. For now that seems to have been avoided but what happens when Israel attacks Iran again? Backing down just gives Israel more reason to continue moving against any target they wish it seems so why not attack Iran’s nuclear program?

In my humble opinion this war will expand and expand fast as the return of Jesus Christ is nigh. The Israeli Rabbis believe that by expanding this war and their territory to bring about armageddon that THEIR Messiah will return. They’re making their final moves on the chessboard to make that event happen just as Rabbi Rebbe told Netanyahu to do way back in the early 1990’s. He was told to do more to bring about the return of the Messiah.

Remember Bibi’s speech at the UN last week? Here is where he got the “house of darkness” term that he used that day, it was from Rabbi Rebbe.

Hezbollah leader Nasrallah defeated ISIS, protected Lebanon’s Christians, fought Israeli colonialism

Ed. Note: This is something that the mainstream press in the West won’t speak about, the fact that Hezbollah fought hard against the Israel and US sponsored ISIS, especially in Syria. The fact that Hezbollah caused so much trouble for the ISIS proxies is another reason that they wanted to kill Nasrallah. He’s been a thorn in their side for a long time.

The question now is how damaged and degraded is Hezbollah after the pagers fiasco and now the carpet bombing of Southern Lebanon? Are they finished as a fighting force or are they playing possum? We will see how it plays out over the next week.

From Defenddemocracy.press

Israel has killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who defended Lebanon’s sovereignty, helped defeat ISIS and Al-Qaeda, protected Christians, and fought against Israeli colonialism and occupation.

By Ben Norton
Sep 29, 2024

Israel has assassinated Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary-general of the Lebanese anti-colonialist, Islamic-nationalist movement Hezbollah.

Under Nasrallah’s leadership, Hezbollah defended Lebanon’s sovereignty. The movement was itself born out of the resistance against Israel’s illegal invasion and military occupation of southern Lebanon in the 1980s and ‘90s.

Although the US government claims Hezbollah is a so-called “terrorist” organization, only a small number of countries on Earth recognize it as such.

In fact, Hezbollah’s political arm is a registered party, and has a dozen representatives in Lebanon’s democratically elected parliament.

(The United States also included South Africa’s anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela on its supposed “terrorist” list until 2008 — well after he became president of the post-apartheid nation.)

Israel’s colonial war on Lebanon

Israel killed large numbers of Lebanese civilians in the assassination of Nasrallah, flattening six high-rise buildings in the capital Beirut, in a US-backed operation.

Far-right Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the attack while he was in New York, addressing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

When Netanyahu was introduced at the UN, large numbers of foreign diplomats walked out in protest. There was so much pandemonium in the chamber that the UNGA president shouted “Order, please!” and banged a gavel to try to silence the protesters.

Netanyahu ended up speaking to a room that was mostly empty. But in his remarks, he illustrated his colonial intentions, using maps that completely erased Palestine and showed the occupied West Bank and Gaza as part of Israel.

While Netanyahu was at the UN, the Israeli regime was brutally bombing Lebanon, killing nearly 500 people in one day.

Many observers have wondered what Israel’s goals are in Lebanon.

Israel’s minister of diaspora affairs, Amichai Chikli, made it clear in a Twitter/X post. He asserted that Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq are not sovereign countries, and he insisted that Israel should colonize southern Lebanon, just like it did throughout the 1980s and ‘90s.

Major Israeli newspaper the Jerusalem Post published an article arguing that Lebanon is “part of Israel’s promised territory”, and should therefore be colonized.

Ed. Note: The Zionists love to tout the lie that they’ve never received all of the land that God has promised them, so therefore they need to conquer it now in His name. I guess they’ve never read Joshua 11:23.

There it is.
