The Brits & Ukrainians Are Plotting To Manipulate Trump Into Escalating Against Russia

Guest Post by Andrew Korybko

Two false flag scenarios are being cooked up in the Baltic Sea to this end according to Russian spies.

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Agency (SVR) warned that the Brits and Ukrainians are preparing two false flag scenarios in the Baltic Sea. The first one would see Ukrainian-transferred Soviet/Russian torpedoes explode near a US ship there and a supposedly malfunctioning one will then be found to implicate Russia in the alleged attack The second, meanwhile, will involve Ukrainian-transferred Soviet/Russian mines fished out of the Baltic Sea and presented as proof of a Kremlin plot to sabotage international shipping.

These perfidious provocations are being employed to manipulate Trump into escalating against Russia after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced in mid-February that the US won’t extend Article 5 mutual defense guarantees to NATO countries’ troops that might deploy to Ukraine. That scenario was the initial one that was planned for getting him to pull out of talks with Putin and then double down on support for Ukraine, but his team preemptively scuttled it through Hegseth’s announcement.

That’s why efforts are now underway to organize a false flag attack against a US ship in the Baltic and/or frame Russia as a threat to international shipping through the fishing out of its mines there. The Baltic has already been a so-called “NATO lake” since even before Finland and Sweden’s joined NATO given their prior shadow membership in the bloc, however, so it’s unrealistic that Russia could really carry out either of these two operations undetected even if it wanted to. Here are some background briefings:

* 11 March: “Russian Spies Warn That The UK Is Trying To Sabotage Trump’s Envisaged ‘New Détente’

* 24 March: “Putin’s Senior Aide Patrushev Shared Some Updates About The Arctic & Baltic Fronts

* 22 April: “Estonia Might Become Europe’s Next Trouble Spot

* 1 June: “Russia’s Military Build-Up Along The Finnish Border Will Likely Be The New Normal

* 3 June: “The Russian-Ukrainian Talks Are At An Impasse That Only The US Or Brute Force Can Break

To summarize, they detail the contextual evolution of this scenario from SVR’s prior warnings of the UK’s intent to sabotage the Russian-US talks on Ukraine to the motives of regional actors (Estonia and Finland) in going along with this, ending with the diplomatic impasse that defines today’s state of affairs. About that, if the US doesn’t coerce Ukraine into the concessions that Russia demands for peace but also doesn’t wash its hands of this conflict, then it might very well double down on its involvement instead.

The reasonable speculation that Trump knew about Ukraine’s strategic drone strikes against Russia in advance coupled with the latest speculation that he deceived Iran with duplicitous diplomacy doesn’t do much to inspire confidence in him personally since he could possibly be in on these false flag plots too. Despite Putin’s bonhomie with Trump, which was recently expressed through their most recent call, some in Russia are beginning to suspect Trump of double-dealing.

It’s therefore imperative that he preemptively commit to not escalating against Russia if either of these two false flag scenarios transpire just like Hegseth preemptively averted the deployment of NATO countries’ troops to Ukraine (at least for now) by declaring that Article 5 won’t extend to them. It’s unclear whether Trump read SVR’s warning or if he can rely on his advisors to inform him (unless Putin told already him), however, so he might not even be aware of this and could thus be manipulated.

UK’s Insane Strategy of Fighting Russia, China and Giving Nukes to Neo-Nazi Junta

The United Kingdom conquered approximately a quarter of the world during the heyday of its brutal colonial empire. The vast majority of UN member states celebrate their independence precisely from London, as history’s most prominent thalassocracy pretty much invaded at least 90% of the planet in its quest for total dominance. Nowadays, the UK is a second-rate power (at best), with horrible demographics, widespread moral degeneracy and societal decay, as well as a plethora of other domestic issues that urgently need to be solved. However, instead of focusing on that, London is still role-playing a superpower. Namely, the latest document on the strategic priorities of the British military states that it should focus on – wait for it – Russia and China. Yes, you read that right. The UK believes it can fight both (Eur)Asian giants simultaneously.

According to the Strategic Defense Review (PDF), the British military needs to be ready for a conflict against not only Russia and China, but also North Korea and Iran. The assessment posits that London is faced with “a new era of threat with drones, artificial intelligence and other technologies changing the nature of warfare more fundamentally than at any other point in history”. The document has around 140 pages and contains guidelines for the British military, with a particular focus on the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict, the largest and most intense in the world since WWII. Moscow and Beijing were described as primary opponents (although the latter was formally deemed a “sophisticated and persistent challenge”). At the same time, Pyongyang and Tehran were both presented as so-called “regional disruptors” of the “Perfidious Albion’s” interests.

The team of authors was headed by George Robertson, life peer of the House of Lords and former NATO Secretary General in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They reiterated the need to increase military spending (expected to reach nearly $70 billion) to 2.5% of GDP by 2027 and then 3% in the subsequent review. The review also touched upon the issue of the British military’s dwindling size, with a particular focus on reports that the Ministry of Defense (MoD) and Treasury are at odds over the financing of such initiatives. Namely, the latest figures suggest that “the size of the Army has dropped below the target to the lowest level since the Napoleonic era and earlier, with the number of full-time trained soldiers at 70,860 on 1 April, down 2.3% over the preceding year”. In other words, the entire ground force of the British military would be unable to hold 100 km of a frontline.

In comparison, the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict has a massive frontline that’s at least 1,300 km long. How exactly could London hope to match Russia’s two-million-strong military with 70,000 troops, while also “deterring” China in the Asia-Pacific region is anyone’s guess. The report suggests that increasing the size of ground forces “by only 5,000 would cost well over $3 billion a year in extra pay, accommodation, kit and other resources”. However, what the UK doesn’t have a shortage of are admirals. Namely, it would be facing the Chinese Navy with its dwindling inventory that has more admirals than warships. Others, such as Peter Ricketts, a former national security adviser, argue that it would be best to “spend more on drones, cyber capabilities and artificial intelligence” and that “resourcing of 3.5% of GDP [for the military] would ultimately be necessary”.

.

Read the document here

.

Interestingly, the document also mentions plans for a “volunteer home guard to protect airports and other sensitive sites from drone or other unexpected attacks by hostile states and terrorists”. This is particularly indicative, as British intelligence services are among the most active in virtually all hotspots around the world, including NATO-occupied Ukraine. There are very serious indicators that the MI6 masterminded the plan to attack Russia’s strategic aviation, with the Neo-Nazi junta simply serving as cannon fodder. What’s more, British involvement in the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict couldn’t possibly be more pronounced, particularly as its top military and intelligence officers have planned and even executed operations against Russia’s strategic assets, particularly the VMF (the Eurasian giant’s navy), with the obvious goal of eroding Moscow’s global capabilities.

The review panel also included General Richard Barrons (ret.) and Fiona Hill, a former Russia adviser to Donald Trump, who previously stated that

“structurally, WW3 has already begun because the international norms of behavior have been eroded by Russia in Ukraine and by fighting in the Middle East”.

Obviously, the political West’s all-encompassing aggression against the entire world is “just fine” and “doesn’t erode international norms of behavior”. The head of the panel, George Robertson, described Russia, China, North Korea and Iran as “the deadly quartet increasingly working together”. Unsurprisingly, there was no reflection on the fact that NATO’s perpetual (and simultaneous) belligerence toward the “deadly quartet” is the primary (if not the sole) reason for Moscow, Beijing, Pyongyang and Tehran to work together against a common threat.

Unfortunately, this laughable “defense” review is not even the worst component of the UK’s increasingly delusional foreign policy. This includes the “Perfidious Albion’s” desire to ensure nuclear escalation in the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict. Namely, during a “Strategy of the Rook: UK interests in the Black Sea” panel at a recent Black Sea Security Forum in Odessa, British Colonel Richard Kemp (ret.) argued that London should “help” the Neo-Nazi junta to “restore its nuclear arsenal”.

“Therefore, I think that part of this declaration [on strategic cooperation between the UK and Ukraine] should have been Britain’s commitment to develop tactical nuclear weapons. I know how expensive it is. This can <…> help Ukraine develop its own nuclear potential,” Kemp said, adding: “You can’t deter a nuclear-armed country without nuclear capability, and you can’t deter tactical nuclear weapons without strategic nuclear weapons. It’s meaningless. So I believe part of that declaration should have been a UK commitment to develop nuclear weapons [for Ukraine].”

He stressed that London possesses only strategic nuclear weapons and resorted to the usual criticism of the supposed “failure to deliver on past promises”, obviously referring to the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, which the UK was also part of and which pledged security guarantees to Ukraine in exchange for its denuclearization and a neutral status. However, none of the panelists mentioned that this neutrality was broken by NATO expansionism and aggression. However, Kemp kept going with his deranged rant.

“Help in developing Ukraine’s own nuclear capability must be provided,” he insisted, adding: “Ukraine gave it up in return for supposed Western guarantees that were never realized. So I don’t think we should simply ignore the nuclear issue, which seems today to be swept under the carpet — and I think that is a mistake.”

In other words, the political West is ready to risk even a “limited nuclear exchange” that would destroy “only” Russia and Ukraine, thus eliminating Moscow as a geopolitical adversary. There’s just one “tiny” issue with this approach. Namely, the Russian leadership has repeatedly warned that such strategies are nothing but deeply unhinged wishful thinking that will never come to pass (or at least not without permanent consequences for the political West). Unfortunately, delusional NATO leaders still keep forgetting this.

Iran to be attacked this weekend?

New intelligence suggests Israel is preparing possible strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, US officials say. I’ve been getting reports from all over the Internet that the US, the UK, and Israel could be attacking Iran as early as this weekend.

CNN —

The US has obtained new intelligence suggesting that Israel is making preparations to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, even as the Trump administration has been pursuing a diplomatic dealwith Tehran, multiple US officials familiar with the latest intelligence told CNN.

Such a strike would be a brazen break with President Donald Trump, US officials said. It could also risk tipping off a broader regional conflict in the Middle East — something the US has sought to avoid since the war in Gaza inflamed tensions beginning in 2023.

Officials caution it’s not clear that Israeli leaders have made a final decision, and that in fact, there is deep disagreement within the US government about the likelihood that Israel will ultimately act. Whether and how Israel strikes will likely depend on what it thinks of the US negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear program.

Unlike CNN I don’t think Israel will be going alone without the United States. I think the peace talks with the US and Iran was a ruse to give people false hope. Now the west will feel like they can turn around and say well we tried negotiating and now they’ll say that war is the only option .

Hal Turner says that the British are joining the party as well as their repositioning tanker refueling aircraft to Cyprus.

Intel sources are briefing me with details claiming Israel AND the British are allegedly in the final stages of planning a large assault upon Iran’s nuclear program, and may carry out that attack WHILE THE US IS STILL NEGOTIATING WITH IRAN!

Given the reality that air refueling tankers would enter a potential war operation very close to the time the actual operation would begin, one has to wonder if Israel and Britain are going to attack Iran – THIS WEEKEND?

Other reports from telegram say that the US will be involved in the attack.

BREAKING:

🇺🇸🇮🇷🇮🇱 The US is also preparing to help Israel to attack Iran – CNN

The US is stepping up intelligence collection to be prepared to assist if Israeli leaders decide to strike, one senior US official told CNN

So Israel is the one deciding how is going to be.

@Megatron_ron

It’s also now being reported that talks between Iran and the US are ending.

BREAKING: According to Reuters, Iran has rejected the U.S. proposal without offering any counterproposal.

Trump has made it clear: Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons. The regime now faces a choice—diplomatic resolution or severe consequences.

Digital Identity Bill – The Data (Use and Access) Bill must be stopped – UK Column

In America we have Stargate AI that’s going up around us at “warp speed” and in the UK you have this instead but at the end of the day it’s the same thing, AI controlled digital IDs.

The rest of the world is in lockstep with the USA and the UK as Russia has made announcements (amazing how they all seem to announce at once) how they are implementing a digital ID system right now as well. Here is more from Edward’s blog over at Substack.

In the second half of 2025, Russia is in for something more than just another technological breakthrough: A biometric revolution that promises to change not only the way we shop, but also our understanding of privacy, security, and convenience.

While the largescale implementation of the digital ruble has been postponed until 2026, active testing is underway.

Tony Blair Pushes UK Govt to Use Bill Gates’ Digital ID System

Tony Blair has urged the UK government to implement a digital ID system, suggesting it could help address issues like immigration and benefit fraud. Blair believes that such a system could also “flush out” anti-establishment populists by forcing them to choose between their rhetoric and actual policy solutions. He argues that digital IDs would empower individuals by simplifying transactions with the government and allowing for better identification of those who are not entitled to be in the country.

Blair’s proposal includes the use of live facial recognition technology, which has been piloted in London and Wales. He claims that digital IDs would enable the government to know exactly who has the right to be in the country, thus addressing concerns about immigration and benefit fraud. Blair also suggests that digital IDs could reduce crime, particularly online fraud.

However, the Labour government has rejected Blair’s call for digital ID cards. Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper have stated that ID cards are not part of the government’s plans and were not included in the party’s election manifesto.

According to Blair, populists “exploit” public grievances without offering real solutions.

“The grievance would be on immigration—that the thing is out of control. The grievance would be on crime—that we’re not doing enough on it,” he said in an interview with The Times.

“So you say, ‘OK, here’s what you do.’ And then you have a big political fight. The populist is forced to choose.”

Blair insists that digital IDs could be the solution.

“We are putting in place the building blocks for it, so that’s good. But we should embrace it fully and roll it out as soon as we can because it will have an immediate set of benefits,” he told the newspaper.

He acknowledged privacy concerns but argued that the public is willing to trade privacy for efficiency.

“There will be a big debate… how much privacy are you prepared to trade for efficiency? My view is that people are actually prepared to trade quite a lot,” he said, adding that implementing digital IDs will expose those who “talk about issues like immigration or benefit fraud but don’t actually have the will to implement solutions.”

Now, under the leadership of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, he believes the government has an opportunity to push forward with digital IDs and other surveillance measures, including live facial recognition cameras.

While Starmer’s administration is already considering digital driving licenses and passports, Blair insists the government must go even further in implementing a centralized digital identity system.

“Young people will be able to use government-backed digital ID cards to prove they are old enough to drink alcohol under legal changes set to take effect next year,” The Telegraph reported.

“They will be able to sign up to digital ID companies that are certified against government-set standards for security and reliability and then use the app on their smartphone to prove they are over 18 when visiting pubs, restaurants, and shops.

It is part of a wider effort to move more state functions online so that people can prove their identity for everything from paying taxes to opening a bank account using the government-backed app.”

There is a striking irony in the UK’s sudden push to determine “precisely who has a right” to be in the country after years of unrestricted mass migration.

While the government insists that the new digital ID system will remain voluntary, critics argue that many so-called optional programs eventually become mandatory. UK Heritage Party Leader David Kurten has also pointed out that the push for digital IDs initially emerged during the rollout of Covid vaccine passports, raising concerns about the gradual expansion of state control over personal freedoms.

“The dangerous thing here is that it’s not just going to be limited to pubs and clubs,” Kurten said, referencing The Telegraph article.

“They’re even talking about entry to shops. Why you would need a digital ID in order to go into a shop and do some shopping, I don’t know—that sounds very nefarious. (The test run was the green pass that the EU, UK and Israel all implemented in 2021).

This is it! This is the final BEAST system that will be implemented around the world, most likely this year! Stay prayed up and prepped up because time is very short!

UK’ s Starmer trying to escalate Ukrainian conflict

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Associations, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

Despite all the Russian warnings that the conflict in Ukraine is reaching a dangerous point, the West continues its escalatory measures. Recently, British top politician called for expanding military assistance to Kiev, clearly showing that London is not interested in de-escalation. There seems to be no limit to the bellicosity of Western leaders, who want to take the war with Russia to its ultimate consequences.

In a private conversation with fellow G7 leaders, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said it is necessary to “continue maximizing Putin’s pain” through both military and economic measures. He said G7 countries need to expand their military assistance as well as economic sanctions, imposing even more coercive measures against the Russian Federation and its allies.

Starmer’s office released a statement about the meeting, clarifying the topics he commented on. The UK Prime Minister said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is looking strong and obstinate to continue military actions in Ukraine, which Starmer said is due to the West’s weakness in imposing “pain” on him. The British leader believes that only by inflicting damage on Russia will it be possible to make Putin “rethink” the special military operation, and eventually give up.

“The Prime Minister said that with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin showing no sign of relenting, it is vital that we bolster our support to put [Ukraine] in the best possible position for the future (…) He called on fellow G7 leaders to continue maximizing Putin’s pain by increasing military support to the Ukrainians and ramping up economic pressure, including via further sanctions where possible,” the statement reads.

Starmer does not seem to believe in any diplomatic path, completely ignoring any possibility of dialogue with Russia. Unlike his German counterpart Olaf Scholz, who recently talked with Putin and promised to do so again, the head of the British parliament claims that it is necessary to achieve Ukrainian victory by wearing down Russia, thus believing that NATO’s plan for a prolonged war with Moscow is viable.

By acting in this way, the British Prime Minister ignores all the recent warnings given by the Russian Federation about the dangers of an uncontrolled escalation of the conflict. Moscow is warning the West about the danger posed by NATO’s increasingly active participation in Ukrainian military actions, especially regarding the use of long-range missiles against targets in the recognized Russian territory. UK is among the countries supplying these weapons to Ukraine, and is therefore a participant in the crimes committed by the Kiev regime against Russian regions outside the conflict zone.

As well known, these long-range weapons contain special technology that NATO does not want to give to the Ukrainians. In this sense, the military equipment is operated by Western specialized personnel illegally based on Ukrainian soil. This means that such attacks are deliberate Western actions against recognized Russian territories.

According to the new Russian nuclear doctrine, such Western-Ukrainian strikes are legitimizing a Russian nuclear response. Moscow is refraining from taking such action in order to prevent a catastrophe, but if the provocations continue to escalate, the time may come when it will be impossible to avoid responding.

By ignoring such Russian warnings, Starmer is deliberately contributing to the escalation of the conflict and bringing it ever closer to the point of no return. It must be stressed that there are few military measures left to be taken. Given that long-range weapons are already being used, there is little the West can do to escalate further. Some NATO hawks are calling for the deployment of troops on the ground or the delivery of nuclear weapons to Ukraine, for example. Of course, any of these irresponsible actions would trigger a Russian nuclear response.

As for sanctions, Russia’s economic success over the past three years has made it clear that no coercive trade measures will have any practical effect. Moscow prepared for the West’s trade war by creating a strategy to enter the Asian market after losing its partnerships with Europe. In the end, Russian profits expanded and the West itself, especially the European countries, were hurt by the sanctions. So, calling for more coercive measures is just a waste of time, since this will affect the West itself, not Russia.

The West has now to choose between going to the extreme, potentially nuclear, consequences of the war or following the path of de-escalation. Hawks like Starmer seem to be ready to risk an all-out war, but it is hoped that a more rational view of the conflict will prevail to avoid the worst-case scenario.

Emergency alert! American nuclear bombers on full alert as Russia and Iran conduct naval drills

The world sits on the pacifist of all out Armageddon/World War III. I would expect it all to erupt within the next two weeks. Prayed up and prepped up, time is very very short.

Kiev regime asks for London’s support in attacks with long-range missiles

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Association, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

Kiev is no longer hiding its desperation to be authorized to strike targets in “deep Russia.” After several failed requests for authorization from the US, the regime has asked British officials to support its demand, claiming that the measure is necessary for Ukraine to achieve its strategic objectives in the war. London is not in a position to authorize or not such attacks without previous consensus with the Americans, but Kiev’s thirsty for escalation makes it act irrationally.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal asked UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy to support Ukraine’s demand to use long-range missiles against Russia. Lammy was on an official visit to Kiev jointly with Antony Blinken. Some Western analysts expected Blinken’s trip to be aimed precisely at announcing a public authorization for these strikes, but no change in the American position has been declared so far.

During a meeting with the British official, Shmyhal said:

“We [Ukrainians] hope that long-range equipment for strikes on the territory of our enemy will be reached and we will have it. And we hope for your help and support in this issue.”

Lammy seemed uncomfortable with the request, as the words sounded like a clear attempt to create a “lobby” and pressure the US to accept Ukraine’s demands. Lammy avoided giving a conclusive answer on the matter, but a day before the meeting with Shmyhal he had already made it clear that strategic decisions would not be announced on the trip.

“It’s hugely important that we (Lammy and Blinken) are travelling together to hear from our Ukrainian counterparts and President Zelensky their assessment of the situation on the ground and their needs on the ground (…) It would, however, be quite wrong to comment on the detail of operational issues in a forum such as this, because the only person who could benefit is Putin, and we will do nothing to give him any advantage in his illegal invasion,” Lammy said.

In the same vein, Blinken confirmed that the purpose of the trip is only to listen to Ukrainian demands and needs, without making any decisions at the current time. He said that everything discussed during the trip will be reported to the American and British governments after the end of the expedition, and any possible decision will therefore be made only at a later date – implying that any Ukrainian effort for “authorization” is futile for now.

“One of the purposes of the trip we will be taking together is to hear directly from the Ukrainian leadership including President Zelensky about exactly how the Ukrainians see their needs in this moment, toward what objectives and what we can do to support those needs (..) All I can tell you is we will be listening intently to our Ukrainian partners, we will both be reporting back to the Prime Minister, to President Biden in the coming days, and I fully anticipate this is something they will take up when they meet on Friday,” Blinken said.

Meanwhile, London seems willing to shift the focus of Ukraine’s demands. The UK has announced new sanctions against ships that are allegedly working to circumvent the embargo on Russian oil. Lammy commented on the move during his visit to Kiev, describing it as a kind of strategic victory for the Western-Ukrainian side. He said the sanctions could inflict serious damage on the Russian economy, thereby hampering its military efforts. Lammy seems to simply want Kiev to see such “moderate” measures as “sufficient” and stop asking for escalating military policies.

“Russia has been forced to spend over eight billion dollars (£6 billion) amassing this shadow fleet. But with sanctioned tankers loitering and unable to load oil, we are determined to make Putin’s investment an expensive misstep for the Kremlin,” Lammy added.

Some analysts believe that Blinken and Lammy secretly “authorized” the deep strikes during the trip. There is no evidence to support this claim so far, but it would be a suicidal move by Western powers. If Kiev starts launching such attacks from now, Moscow will be sure that such authorization was given. In this scenario, Russia would be forced to respond incisively, which would result in a widespread escalation of violence.

Washington and London undoubtedly want war, but they do not want to be targeted by Russia in retaliatory action, since neither side would benefit from an open or nuclear war. If Kiev uses these weapons against deep Russian territory, the US and UK will most likely claim that they did not give any authorization, leaving the Ukrainian regime to take the responsibility alone.

Asking London for help is pointless, since the British would never make a decision without prior communication with the US. London and Washington act together in all their moves. Kiev’s desperation to generate escalation and internationalization is preventing Ukrainian officials from seeing that there is no strategic sense in their actions. “Pressuring” international sponsors is a futile effort, since Ukraine, as a proxy agent, is supposed to follow orders, not demand anything.

Independent Journalist Arrested Under Terrorism Act in UK

Americans don’t seem to believe or understand that this will happen to them as well. It’s already happening with hate speech labels etc, but because their phones are working they believe they’re free.

In the UK, publicly supporting Hamas and opposing the slaughter of children is a jailable offence. Whether Zionism or Communism, both are tyrannical.

Independent Journalist Richard Medhurst was arrested in the UK on Thursday under the UK’s Terrorism Act 2000, according to a video he posted Monday on X recounting the experience.
“On Thursday, as I landed in London’s Heathrow airport, I was immediately escorted off the plane by six police officers who were waiting for me at the entrance of the aircraft. They arrested me – not detained – they arrested me under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act of 2000 and accused me of allegedly ‘expressing an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed organization’ but wouldn’t explain what this meant,” Medhurst says in the video.
