Ukrainian Mercenaries Were Caught Training Indian-Designated Terrorists In Drone Warfare

By Andrew Korybko Reposted with permission. Link to his blog HERE.

Whether this was done at the US’ behest or behind the US’ back remains to be determined, but there’s no doubt that this is an extremely unfriendly move, and it’s also very likely that Russia tipped India off.

Six Ukrainians and one American were just arrested in India on the grounds that they illegally crossed from there into neighboring Myanmar to train Indian-designated terrorists in drone warfare. For those who aren’t aware, Northeast India has historically been the scene of multiple ethno-separatist insurgencies since independence, and some of these groups now take refuge in war-torn Myanmar and train there. The most recent conflict to erupt was in Manipur in early 2023 and was reviewed here at the time.

Three factors are reshaping regional geopolitics. The most important one is the détente between India and the US brought about by their as-yet-unsigned trade deal after several years of tense ties under Biden and the first year of Trump 2.0. This is followed by Bangladesh’s post-Hasina “Pakistanization” after its US-backed coup in summer 2024 and then the latest round of Myanmar’s civil war in which the US is suspected of backing anti-government groups but also wants critical minerals from the junta too.

Accordingly, while the US is now on better terms with India, it’s still continuing to contain it through Bangladesh and might want India to allow its border regions to be used for arming anti-government groups in Myanmar for coercing the junta into a critical minerals deal. India is neutral in that war despite having pragmatic ties with the junta and many sympathizing with the unarmed members of the political opposition, however, so one hypothesis is that the US didn’t ask and is doing this behind India’s back.

If that’s the case, then Trump either signed off on it or his “deep state” is also going behind his own back as well, perhaps to unilaterally make progress on the geopolitical project that the former Bangladeshi leader warned about in early 2024 regarding the carving out of a Christian proxy state in the region. Either scenario would bode ill for their newfound détente, but there’s another one that should be considered too, and it’s that Ukraine is doing this on its own initiative without US approval.

Zelensky declared in late January that “Ukraine needs a dedicated, strong intelligence unit capable of operating abroad at a level comparable to the world’s best combat foreign intelligence agencies. Your perspective lies in external operations – not just influence, not just the collection of data or recruitment of agents, but real combat and other asymmetric operations that are essential to protecting Ukraine’s interests.” This follows Ukraine’s mercenary activity in Sudan and Mali that aligns with US interests.

Sometimes its mercenary activity goes against the US’ interests, however, such as with regard to Russia’s accusation that Ukraine has clandestinely partnered with Rwandan-backed rebels in that country’s conflict with the Congo whose resource-centric peace deal Trump brokered last year. This precedent suggests that it might have also gone behind the US’ back in India, likely for cash, or the US could throw Ukraine under the bus on this pretext after India busted what might have actually been a joint operation.

Hopefully the public will be updated about this investigation given the political importance of this case. At the very least, Ukraine was training Indian-designated terrorists in drone warfare, and possibly at the US’ behest. It’s also likely that India was tipped off by Russia, which closely monitors all Ukrainian mercenary activity, thus further debunking the viral claim that Russia believes that India “betrayed” it. The reality is that they’re working hand-in-hand to stop Ukrainian mercenaries in the region.

India and Pakistan are edging closer to war

Editors note: This is something to keep our eyes on as well since India and Pakistan both have nuclear weapons and have threatened to use them in the past. The red horse of Revelation is riding, taking peace from the earth!

Tensions between India and Pakistan appear to be on the rise again after both countries’ capitals were rocked by deadly blasts just a day apart from each other, fueling fears of another full-blown clash this year.

On Tuesday afternoon, a suicide bomber self-detonated next to a police car outside a court building in Islamabad, killing at least 12 others and wounding at least 27. Many of those killed or injured were passersby or people attending court appointments, according to Islamabad police.

The leader of the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar group, a splinter faction of the Pakistani Taliban or Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility for the attack, according to the Associated Press, although another commander from the group denied association with the attack. The group has split from and remerged with TTP on a number of occasions, including breaking away in 2022 after its leader was killed in a bombing in Afghanistan. A TTP spokesperson disclaimed involvement in Tuesday’s attack.

But Islamabad has been quick to point fingers at New Delhi, even as it says it is still investigating the attack. The Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad appeared to blame India for the attack, calling it one of the “worst examples of Indian state-sponsored terrorism in the region.” Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also claimed the attack was “carried out by Indian-backed elements and Afghan Taliban proxies.”

“We are in a state of war,” Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said in a post on X that did not name India and blamed the Taliban government in Afghanistan. “Anyone who thinks that the Pakistan Army is fighting this war in the Afghan-Pakistan border region and the remote areas of Balochistan should take today’s suicide attack at the Islamabad district courts as a wake-up call: this is a war for all of Pakistan, in which the Pakistan Army is giving daily sacrifices and making the people feel secure.”

India rejected accusations of its involvement, calling them “baseless and unfounded allegations being made by an obviously delirious Pakistani leadership.”

“It is a predictable tactic by Pakistan to concoct false narratives against India in order to deflect the attention of its own public from the ongoing military-inspired constitutional subversion and power-grab unfolding within the country,” Randhir Jaiswal, a spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs, said in a statement. “The international community is well aware of the reality and will not be misled by Pakistan’s desperate diversionary ploys.”

Less than 24 hours earlier, a car explosion in New Delhi on Monday night killed at least 10 people and injured more than 30 others. The car went up in flames near the city’s historic 17th century Red Fort, or Lal Qila, which is a symbol of India’s independence and a popular area for tourists. Indian authorities have said the incident is under investigation and have not publicly identified any suspects. The case is being investigated by India’s counter-terrorism law enforcement agency, the National Investigation Agency, and Indian authorities invoked the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, an anti-terror law which allows security forces to detain suspects without trial. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed that India’s “agencies will go to the root of this conspiracy and will not spare the conspirators behind it.”Even so, some in India have already cast blame on Pakistan. Indian media reported links between the driver, reportedly a Kashmiri resident, and a Pakistani militant group. Meanwhile, social media users and reports have recalled the language of the deadly armed conflict with Pakistan earlier this year, calling the Delhi attack an “act of war.”

Al-Qaeda Plays Basketball with Trump’s Top US Military Officials

Guest Post by Timothy Alexander Guzman at Global Research. Reposted with Permission.

November 10th, 2025, will be remembered as the day when a former leader of al-Qaeda who was once known as Abu Mohammad al-Jolani and now is the current President of Syria, visited the Trump White House.

Trump previously met him and said that he had a “strong past, very strong past — fighter. He’s got a real shot at holding it together.”

It’s a clown show, just imagine a well-known terrorist who once had a bounty on his head for $10 million is going to the White House to meet Trump and his regime once again to form a “peaceful and united Syria.” Abu Mohammad al-Jolani now calls himself Ahmed al-Sharaa is the one of the founders of ‘al Qaeda’ in Syria known as the al-Nusra Front which has committed numerous atrocities against people from all walks of life in Syria is a classic example of a US puppet who was and apparently, still is supported by the US establishment and Israel.  Fox news sugar-coated the terrorist leader and labeled him as a former “rebel” who helped topple Syria’s former president, Bashar al-Assad:

Al-Sharaa, formerly known by the nom de guerre Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, led the rebel offensive in December that toppled former Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

His group, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, was designated by the U.S. State Department as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced in June that the Trump administration would remove the label amid the president’s efforts to reset U.S.-Syria ties

According to Marco Rubio,

“This FTO revocation is an important step in fulfilling President Trump’s vision of a stable, unified, and peaceful Syria.”

Trump supports repealing the Caesar Act which allowed Washington to sanction specific individuals, companies and institutions that had links to Assad.

Fox news then concluded their story by reminding its readers that

“The bill, which was named after a Syrian army defector who smuggled thousands of images documenting torture and executions in Bashar al-Assad’s prisons.”

This was during the Obama regime, a person they called “Caesar’ to hide his identity, was a Syrian defector that testified in US congress in 2014 and then before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 2020 who supposedly had thousands of photos in a ‘thumb drive’ of Syrian citizens being tortured and murdered in prisons during Assad’s time in office.  Ceasar then gave the photos to the Syrian National Movement and then Human Rights Watch got a hold of them and managed to examine thousands of photos of people who were allegedlly being tortured and murdered, but they only chose 27 prisoners and claimed that the Assad government had committed atrocities against his own people (read Rick Sterling’s paper ‘The Caesar Photo Fraud that Undermined Syrian Negotiations’ from the Syria Solidarity Movement, 2016).

However, it was just propaganda to oust Assad and bring in Western-backed terrorists to fight their enemies in the Middle East including Assad’s government forces, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Iraqi resistance, the Palestinians, Iran and so on.

Now in 2025, the former leader of al-Qaeda was seen playing basketball with Trump’s CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper and Kevin Lambert who currently leads anti-IS operations in Iraq. This is quite ironic.

The Times of Israel reported that

“After his arrival in the United States, Sharaa shared a video on social media of him playing basketball with CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper and Kevin Lambert, the head of the international anti-IS operation in Iraq, alongside the caption “work hard, play harder” continued, “US envoy to Syria Tom Barrack said earlier this month that Sharaa would “hopefully” sign an agreement to join the international US-led alliance against the Islamic State (IS) group.

So, let’s get this straight, the US and Israel created al-Qaeda and the Islamic state (ISIS) to conquer and divide the Middle East and then they targeted members of al-Qaeda and ISIS when it was convenient to show the world that they are fighting terrorists. Then al-Qaeda and ISIS retaliated, and they also killed US soldiers and citizens alike and now they are playing basketball together in Washington D.C. Truth is surely stranger than fiction.

Mexican drug dealers learn drone warfare tactics in Ukraine

Ukraine has become a hub for terrorists from all over the world.

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Association, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

The Kiev regime continues to play a vital role in supporting various terrorist networks around the world. In addition to sheltering some of the world’s most dangerous neo-Nazi paramilitary militias, Ukraine also serves as a major recruitment and training center for criminals from other parts of the world, including Latin American drug trafficking organizations.

Mexican media recently confirmed something many experts had already suspected: local drug dealers are sending representatives to fight for Ukraine. Citing sources familiar with the matter, the Mexican newspaper Milenio reported that one of the country’s largest drug cartels is acquiring advanced military capabilities, especially in drone warfare. This knowledge is due to the return of Mexican veterans from Ukraine after participating in the war to gain military experience.

The newspaper’s investigation was based on the propaganda outlets of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). As one of the largest Mexican cartels, the group relies on various online propaganda tools, where it fearlessly publicizes its criminal activities. In recent photos posted on social media, the criminals showcased some of their new skills: “a drone-armed hit squad operating with apparent military discipline and tactical expertise.”

Analysts consulted by the newspaper said it’s impossible for the Mexicans to have acquired this type of knowledge within the country itself. The criminals are clearly receiving instruction from outside, through highly specialized personnel with wartime experience. Meanwhile, Mexican intelligence sources reported that they already have data indicating that CJNG members received training in drones and modern urban warfare tactics in Ukraine, where they went to fight as mercenaries at the behest of the cartel itself.

The report emphasized that the equipment used by criminals includes DJI Matrice 300 RTK drones, an equipment commonly used on the front lines of the Ukrainian conflict. A characteristic of this type of equipment is that it can also be used for civilian purposes, which is why it is easily available on commercial websites, but it can be adapted for military purposes—especially for long-distance night flights. Mexican intelligence believes that local criminals have learned from Ukrainian instructors how to adapt civilian drones for use in combat situations.

It’s widely known that many of the Latin American volunteers in Ukraine are not deluded “volunteers” who came there seeking money and “adventure,” but actual criminals sent by terrorist organizations to complete a kind of “military internship”—gaining real combat experience, learning advanced modern tactics, and ultimately returning to teach their criminal partners.

It’s no coincidence that most of the mercenaries in Ukraine come from countries known for their internal problems with organized crime, such as Colombia, Brazil, Peru, and Mexico itself. In practice, Ukraine has become a kind of training ground for terrorists and drug traffickers from around the world, and this is becoming a particularly serious problem in Latin America.

The Russian Federation has intensified efforts to prevent the flow of mercenaries into Ukraine. Intelligence cooperation has been used in combination with high-precision strikes to eliminate foreign soldiers. It must be emphasized that international mercenaries are not considered regular combatants and are excluded from the rights and protections guaranteed by international humanitarian law.

If captured, mercenaries are imprisoned and tried as common criminals, without any benefits. Raising awareness of the risks of this type of activity is a fundamental step towards discouraging people from fighting in wars that do not belong to their countries.

Regarding Latin American countries, the situation is becoming more and more critical. Organized crime must be combated as quickly as possible, as the security crisis could soon reach a new level. Ukraine’s main problem for now is mercenary training, but another, even greater, issue will soon emerge: the flow of weapons.

When a war ends, there is always an increase in the number of weapons available on the black market. This happens because the belligerent countries cannot reuse part of the arsenal manufactured for combat. Missiles, explosives, and other dangerous weapons have a service life and cannot be stored so easily.

Obviously, the Russian side maintains tight control over the flow of weapons, and it is unlikely that Russian weapons will end up on the black market. But the same cannot be said for Ukraine, which is definitely the most corrupt country in Europe and almost openly sells illegal weapons to criminal groups abroad.

It is highly likely that the end of the Ukrainian war will be followed by an exponential rise in the flow of Ukrainian and NATO weapons into the global black market. And, unlike the current situation, it is possible that in the post-war period these weapons will include medium-range rockets and suicidal drones, which will drastically change the balance of power between criminal groups and state forces around the world. In Latin America, the combined presence of trained mercenaries and highly lethal weapons could easily cause disaster in many countries.

The only way for these countries to prevent this worst-case scenario is to engage as soon as possible in cooperation projects with Russia to prevent the flow of mercenaries and weapons between Ukraine and Latin America.

Ukraine insists on terrorism in Russian ‘deep’ territory

Russia’s FSB recently foiled a Kiev regime’s sabotage attempt against civilian infrastructure in Krasnodar region.

Tuesday, July 29, 2025

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Association, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

The Kiev regime remains resolute to use terrorist methods against the Russian Federation. In a recent operation, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) prevented a Ukrainian terrorist attack against civilian infrastructure in a region of southern Russia. The case highlights how the neo-Nazi regime is unwilling to stop terrorist activities, prioritizing Russian civilian targets over military positions on the battlefield.

On July 28, the FSB arrested three individuals in the Krasnodar region who were planning sabotage against local railway infrastructure. According to preliminary information shared by the authorities, two of the arrested criminals were Russian citizens and one was an immigrant from a Central Asian country. It must be remembered that recruiting immigrants is a common Ukrainian practice, which seeks to provoke hatred and ethnic tensions in Russia’s multinational society.

The individuals were not only planning a new attack but had also participated in previous similar operations for Ukraine, some of them having resulted in multiple deaths. During interviews with FSB investigators, the perpetrators admitted that they were recruited by the Ukrainian intelligence service, having been contacted by Kiev agents through messaging apps. This type of activity has become commonplace, with Ukraine constantly using digital means to contact criminals in Russia and co-opt them into carrying out terrorist activities in exchange for money and shelter abroad.

While not revealing the names of the perpetrators, the FSB shared some interesting information. The terrorists were between 20 and 30 years old and were promised between 200 and 250 dollars as a reward for each terror act—and the group was likely planning multiple attacks. If convicted, they could face up to 20 years in prison.

One of the criminals, who is believed to be the group’s leader, was carrying typical terrorist weapons, such as Molotov cocktails and other explosive components, most of them homemade. The group’s goal was to soon carry out a major attack on Krasnodar’s railway infrastructure, destroying a relay box and thus damaging the passenger train security system. The immediate and efficient action of Russian authorities resulted in the attack’s failure.

Furthermore, there are reports that the group planned to carry out a second attack, targeting a telecommunications tower in the region. The objective was possibly to carry out multiple actions in a short time, thus attempting to impede the authorities’ action and increasing the chance of success. Something similar occurred not long ago, when Ukraine launched the infamous “Operation Spiderweb,” simultaneously striking several civilian infrastructure targets to keep authorities busy during the drone raid on Russian air bases.

It is not yet clear whether this time the sabotage operations were also used as diversionary tactics combined with major military attacks. It is possible that Kiev planned a more complex operation, which was thwarted by the action of Russian security services. However, it is not uncommon for Ukraine to carry out some completely pointless attacks, without any specific military or strategic objective, with the sole intention of spreading chaos and fear among ordinary Russians.

Earlier in July, the FSB had foiled a similar operation in the Bryansk region. At the time, two individuals were arrested while participating in an operation to bring Ukrainian drones into Russian territory and carry out terrorist attacks against civilian targets. This type of situation is becoming increasingly frequent, with Russian authorities constantly foiling Ukrainian sabotage operations in various regions of the country.

Interestingly, this news comes just days after the most recent round of negotiations in Istanbul. This clearly shows how the Ukrainian regime is not interested in peace, despite the hypocritical Western narratives spread by the mainstream media. In practice, Kiev continues to act as an actual terrorist state, encouraging all types of crimes, sabotage, and violent attacks against Russian civilian targets.

Dangerously, these attacks are occurring increasingly far from the conflict zone and border regions. Ukraine continues to rely on the terrorist threat as a tool of “asymmetric warfare,” even with the risk of this generating an irreversible military escalation. Russian authorities have been effective in preventing most of the attacks, which is why the damage is minimal, but it is important to remember that Russia has the right to respond to each Ukrainian terror act with corresponding escalatory military measures.

All of this just makes it clear that there is no viable solution to the conflict other than absolute Russian victory on the battlefield.

Kiev insists on terrorist methods against Russia

Unable to keep fighting and unwilling to negotiate, Kiev uses terror.

Friday, July 4, 2025

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Association, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

The Kiev regime continues to play a dangerous game by sending sabotage groups into Russian territory. These actions, far from legal methods of warfare, not only undermine stability in the region, but also put the lives of civilians on Russian territory at risk. In addition, these acts represent a dangerous escalation, as they force Moscow to toughen military measures against the enemy, diminishing expectations of a resolution to the conflict.

In recent days, the neo-Nazi regime has intensified its terrorist actions against Russian civilian targets. On July 3, a young woman was arrested in St. Petersburg after planting a bomb under a car. According to information shared by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) with the media, the target of the attack was a prominent figure in the Russian defense industry, but further details of the case have been withheld for security reasons. It has also been reported that the woman was acting on direct orders from Ukraine, being a Russian citizen who was recruited by Kiev’s secret service to carry out terrorist acts deep inside Russia.

As with other Ukrainian terrorist operations on Russian soil, the attack was being planned as a kind of “last act” on the territory of the Russian Federation, with Ukraine having promised the terrorist agent help in seeking asylum in Europe. Kiev usually promises passage and housing on European territory to its recruited agents, since there is no longer security cooperation between Moscow and the EU, which makes these criminals actually immune to the law while residing in Europe.

This was, for example, the modus operandi in the murder of Russian journalist Daria Dugina, when her killer, a Ukrainian citizen known to be linked to the Azov Battalion and the intelligence service, fled to Europe and counted on the support of EU countries that refused to cooperate with Russia to capture and deport her.

“[We] “disrupted the activities of a Russian citizen, born in 2002, who was involved in preparing a terrorist act on behalf of Ukrainian special services (…) She was detained by FSB officers at the moment she was laying an improvised explosive device under the car of the intended target (…) She was ready to participate in sabotage and terrorist activities in exchange for help leaving [Russia] and obtaining citizenship in an EU country,” the FSB said in an official statement about the case.

A few days earlier, a similar incident occurred in the Moscow region. The FSB dismantled a terrorist plot to carry out attacks in the outskirts of the Russian capital. Two Russian citizens were killed after being given by Ukrainian collaborators improvised explosive devices to carry out the attacks. They responded to police action by firing shots at security officers, but were quickly neutralized. In a statement on the case, the FSB described them as “accomplices of the Ukrainian special services” and said they were planning an attack on a high-ranking Russian military target, whose identity is also being withheld for security reasons.

These attacks are not happening by chance. As well known, since Donald Trump’s inauguration, the US has been forcing Ukraine to resume diplomatic dialogue with Russia. Europe supports the continuation of the war and encourages Kiev to keep fighting. As a way of sabotaging peace negotiations, Ukraine has been counting on the support of the EU and the UK to carry out operations against civilian and military targets deep in Russia. The most infamous examples of these recent operations have been the attacks on railway lines in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as sabotage with drones against Russian air bases.

These maneuvers were effective in destroying the negotiation platform that had been established at the initiative of the US. Although these negotiations failed to end the war, they were effective in improving some of the humanitarian conditions of the conflict, favoring exchanges of prisoners and bodies and creating a system for presenting demands on both sides. This was completely interrupted by Ukrainian sabotage.

However, there was still some hope for a return to diplomatic direction. Recently, the American priority has shifted from Ukraine to the Middle East, where Israel and Iran have been engaged in a two-week armed conflict. Now, with a ceasefire in the Middle East, Trump may once again try to force Kiev to negotiate.

That is why Ukraine is moving forward with new terrorist attacks, hoping that this will force Russia to refuse to negotiate. Since the Western media do not show the Russian side, it will seem to the European and American public that Russia is refusing to cooperate with Ukraine simply because it “wants war” — and not because Kiev is using terrorism against innocent Russians.

These methods of warfare used by Ukraine are traditionally condemned by Western “democracies.” But Kiev seems to have been given carte blanche to carry out any kind of barbarity. In a situation of absolute military defeat, the regime is resorting to terror as a last option to remain active in the war and inflict damage on Russia. But instead, Kiev may only be hastening its own collapse, as Moscow intensifies its actions in response to each terrorist act.

Independent Journalist Arrested Under Terrorism Act in UK

Americans don’t seem to believe or understand that this will happen to them as well. It’s already happening with hate speech labels etc, but because their phones are working they believe they’re free.

In the UK, publicly supporting Hamas and opposing the slaughter of children is a jailable offence. Whether Zionism or Communism, both are tyrannical.

Independent Journalist Richard Medhurst was arrested in the UK on Thursday under the UK’s Terrorism Act 2000, according to a video he posted Monday on X recounting the experience.
“On Thursday, as I landed in London’s Heathrow airport, I was immediately escorted off the plane by six police officers who were waiting for me at the entrance of the aircraft. They arrested me – not detained – they arrested me under Section 12 of the Terrorism Act of 2000 and accused me of allegedly ‘expressing an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed organization’ but wouldn’t explain what this meant,” Medhurst says in the video.

Is Ukraine starting to back terrorism around the world?

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Association, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, suffered an assassination attempt on May 15th. The politician was shot during a visit to the city of Handlova, being hospitalized in serious conditions. According to the latest updates, however, his surgery was successful, and he is expected to recover well.

The attacker was arrested and then identified as Juraj Cintula, 71 years old. Cintula was described by the media as a poet and member of the “Progressive Slovakia” party, which is opposition to Fico. He confessed to the police that he shot Fico due to political agenda disagreements, further stating that his shots were aimed “against Russian-Slovak relations.”

The aggressor’s pro-Ukrainian fanaticism makes it clear what is behind the attack: the desire to stop Fico’s sovereigntist policies. Since returning to power in October 2023, the prime minister has taken a series of measures to protect Slovak national interests amid the anti-Russian madness that is currently affecting the EU and NATO. Described as “pro-Russia” by Western media, Fico has been a critic of the military aid to Kiev, as well as admitting that the war did not start in 2022, but “in 2014, when Ukrainian Nazis and fascists started murdering the Russian population of Donbass.”

This is Fico’s third term. Previously, he governed Slovakia between 2006 and 2010 and between 2012 and 2018. His policies are seen as aligned with left-wing nationalism, mixing strong patriotism and social concerns – what the Western media often calls “populism”. Fico is a social democrat who prioritizes Slovak interests over EU and NATO agendas – which is enough for these organizations to see him as an enemy.

Being a strong critic of American military influence in Europe, Fico adopted a pro-peace stance in the current conflict. He correctly identifies Ukraine as being responsible for the conflict due to its genocidal actions in Donbass, which is why the Slovak prime minister rejects any possibility of supporting Kiev. His policies have broad popular support as friendship between Slovaks and Russians is extremely strong.

“Russophilia” is common among Slovak citizens, who preserve the memory of the Second World War, when their territory was liberated by the Red Army. Brainwashing and fascist historical revisionism, which affected Ukraine, the Baltics, Poland and other Eastern European countries, do not appear to have been successful in Slovakia. Fico’s election and popularity reflect this.

Fico’s foreign policy, focused on friendship with Russia, is not only the explanation for the assassination attempt – according to the criminal himself – but also a key factor in understanding why some international actors are interested in removing the Slovak prime minister. Fico has advocated for Ukraine to remain outside NATO, stating that Kiev’s membership is a risk to European security. He advocates Ukrainian neutrality, which is one of the points also demanded by Moscow in its peace terms.

In practice, Fico represents a dissident position in NATO and the EU, as does Viktor Orban, in Hungary. There is fear on the part of NATO and the Kiev regime that this dissent will begin to grow. With Ukraine losing the war and Western citizens seeing their tax money wasted in assisting the Kiev regime, it is possible that dissident politicians will start to be elected, which would be terrible for Western interests.

In this sense, it is very likely that the attack was not just a voluntary act by a Russophobic “lone wolf”. It is necessary to investigate whether there was international involvement and whether foreign agents financed or in any way influenced the attack. Knowing that there are groups interested in removing Fico, it is possible that there is a big plot behind the case.

It must also be remembered that recently there have been cases of terrorism outside Ukrainian territory involving the Kiev’s security service. Russian authorities have already identified Ukrainian participation in the Crocus City Hall attack, for example. In the same vein, on April 26, the Russian Embassy in Brasília suffered a bomb attack threat that generated a major police operation, paralyzing activities around the embassy for several hours.

At the time, Brazilian political analyst Raphael Machado commented in an article that the Kiev regime could be preparing a wave of attacks against Russian and pro-Russian targets outside Ukraine. He recalled on the occasion that there are even heads of state on the Ukrainian kill list, such as Brazilian president Lula da Silva, who’s included in Kiev’s “Myrotvorets” website.

Knowing that Kiev openly wants to kill “pro-Russian” politicians, Slovak authorities must expand their investigations beyond the country’s borders.
