Russian Military Arrives in Venezuela as they Warn the US…

Well now it appears that the shoe is on the other foot as Russia is directly supplying Venezuela with offensive and defensive weapons, just as NATO and the US have been directly supplying Ukraine in their proxy war against Russia.

Venezuelan President Maduro has asked Russia, China and Iran for urgent military support, according to The Washington Post The request for Russia includes missiles, radar overhauls, and aircraft repairs. Caracas has also sought aid from China and Iran, asking for drones, detection systems, and GPS jammers to bolster defenses. So what happened?

Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Venezuela covering defense, political and economic sectors. Afterwards, Russian military cargo planes began arriving. Analysts said the aircraft may have delivered as much as 34 tons of material, including portable air-defense systems and air-to-air missiles.

According to reports The Il-76 transport plane, registered as RA-78765, departed the Moscow area on 24 October and landed in Venezuela on 26 October after stops in Armenia, Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, and Mauritania.

The aircraft reportedly remained in Caracas for about 45 hours before departing for Cuba. Gee what countries have we been talking a lot about recently? The same countries that Dumitru Dudaman talked about during his American Church tours of the 80s. In the vision that God gave Dumitru he saw Cuba, Nicaragua, Mexico and two other Latin/South American countries he couldn’t remember would participate in a war against America. It appears those two countries are going to be Venezuela and possibly Colombia.

In regard to what Russia has said today regarding Venezuela and their requests for aid. The Russian government appeared to send a warning to the Trump administration over its pressure campaign against Venezuela, saying Moscow stands “ready to respond appropriately to the requests of our partners in light of emerging threats.”

“We support the leadership of Venezuela in defending its national sovereignty, taking into account the dynamics of the international & regional situation” said press official Maria Zakharova, according to a social media publication from the Russian Foreign Ministry. Source Latin Times

Given the U.S. military buildup off the coast of Venezuela, the probability that Russia transferred possible air defense equipment, or worse, anti-ship weapons, is a significant development.

Of course many in the Trump administration think that Russia is bluffing and that they won’t help Maduro directly in a war. They must be forgetting about the massive arsenal of Russian weapons, mainly nuclear powered missiles and torpedoes like the Poseidon super torpedo Russia tested the other day.

Still the Trump administration is moving forward and is making plans for war in Venezuela. The Wall Street Journal detailed that the targets are considered nexus between the Nicolas Maduro regime and drug-trafficking organizations. They include military ports and airports, as well as naval facilities and airstrips. The administration continues to use the drug war as their excuse while anyone with more than 2 functioning brain cells knows that this isn’t about drugs.

When asked about Maduro’s appeal to Russia, Trump told reporters, “If Russia or anyone else wants to get involved in that mess, they’ll regret it. We know what’s happening in our hemisphere.” This statement was interpreted by analysts as a warning shot — suggesting Washington will not tolerate a Russian military footprint in the Americas, a region long considered under the Monroe Doctrine sphere of U.S. influence. Source Defense News

We have all kinds of rumors of war flying around today. As I’m typing this it appears Venezuela is having massive GPS interference that just lit up northern Venezuela and Trinidad like a Christmas tree, and nobody’s saying why. This started out of nowhere. Planes, boats, and anyone trying to navigate with a phone? Good luck.

Last but definitely not least it appears that the DOD has sent the long range Tomahawks to Ukraine with the final decision to use them left up to Trump. That is all the more reason for Russia to strike the USA directly as the USA is definitely planning on striking them. Remember the Tomahawks are all American, being fired by Americans, using American satellites and GPS to guide them to their targets in Russia. If that’s not getting directly involved I don’t know what is.

I will keep my eyes on this as usual but I believe we are seeing the Dumitru Duduman prophecy about America/Mystery Babylon coming to pass! In case you’re not familiar with that prophecy, the short version is in this video link. Here is a link to his book that contain these prophecies as well as his life story which is very interesting. This man went through the fires indeed!

As for our housing situation we are still up against it. Thank you very much to those who have already supported but we are still about $744 short! If you’d like to help we have until tomorrow to make it happen! I do have an inner peace today after a rough night last night. Thank you very much for the prayers as most of all, including those for my grandson Christian and his grandmother Retha. Christian lost his dad, my son in law Monday evening.

If you’d like to help us stay in our home and keep the lights on the link is here: https://donorbox.org/emergency-funding-for-housing-utilities?preview=1761599796 Thank you and blessings to you.

Disclosure statement: The link to the book is my Amazon affiliate link so I would receive a small commission when you purchase the book but it does not affect the price. It helps pay for items we need here at home like the Vitamin C and Zinc I bought last week.

Blessings to you and stay ready! Prayed up and prepped up!

PS I do plan on putting this into a video today God willing, I just have a few other things to attend to as you can imagine.

The Stage Is Set For A US-Instigated Security Dilemma Between The Eurasian Rimland & Heartland

Guest Post by Andrew Korybko

US-backed NATO, Pakistan, and the “Asian/Containment Crescent” of Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines are poised to respectively face off against Russia, India, and China across this century.

The US is sending mixed signals about the SinoRusso Entente, which was strengthened by the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline deal, after Trump said in September that he’s “not concerned” about it while Secretary of War Pete Hegseth claimed that he ordered him to “re-establish deterrence” against them. As was argued here, “Trump 2.0’s Eurasian Balancing Act Has Failed” largely as a result of this development, which importantly involved India’s tacit approval amidst its rapprochement with China.

Far from remaining divided, principally as regards China and India with all the complications that their continued rivalry would entail for Russia’s own balancing act, Eurasia’s three most powerful civilization-states are increasingly coming together to revive their dormant Russia-India-China (RIC) format. This platform is significant on its own but it’s also crucially the core of BRICS and the SCO, which play complementary roles in gradually transforming global governance as explained here.

These RIC-accelerated multipolar processes can’t be countered through direct military force, however, but the way in which the Pentagon might try to slow everything down is through provoking arms races. NATO’s, Pakistan’s, and the “Asian/Containment Crescent’s” (Japan-Taiwan-Philippines) US-backed military buildups (partial in Pakistan’s case) could help achieve this vis-à-vis Russia, India, and China as could reinforced US military presences (or a formal return in Pakistan’s case) in each.

Likewise, the “Golden Dome”, intermediate-range missile deployments in their regions, and more militarization of outer space can place additional pressure on Russia and China to this end, though these moves could also backfire by enhancing those two’s military-technical coordination too. To be clear, Russia and China aren’t allies that would go to war for one another, but their shared military-security and strategic interests raise the chances that they’ll provide support for the other during wartime.

China has thus far eschewed sending military-technical aid to Russia due to its complex interdependence with the West, but Trump’s tariff war, his accusation that President Xi Jinping is “conspiring” against the US, and the Pentagon’s plans for the “Asian/Containment Crescent” might prompt a recalculation. In a similar spirit, Russia might become comfortable sharing cutting-edge military-technical knowledge with China to counterbalance US moves in Japan, which could extend to their shared North Korean ally too.

Although the lion’s share of Pakistan’s military-technical equipment comes from China, the US might break into this market if Chinese exports decrease due to the Sino-Indo rapprochement, which could also lead to a decrease in American exports to India and the need to replace them with exports to Pakistan. Russia might even regain its traditional role as India’s top supplier by far if exports to it spike in response to more US exports to Pakistan in a de facto revival of the region’s Old Cold War-era military dynamics.

All of these strategic dynamics set the stage for a security dilemma between the Eurasian Rimland (NATO, Pakistan, and the “Asian/Containment Crescent”) and the Eurasian Heartland (RIC) instigated by the US in order to “re-establish deterrence” vis-à-vis the Sino-Russo Entente. The purpose is to pressure one of them or their shared Indian partner into capitulating to the US so as to then more effectively divide-and-rule the supercontinent. This hegemonic plot will define Eurasia’s 21st-century geopolitics.

EMERGENCY FUNDING! 1 DAY LEFT!

Trump Says He Will Fix SNAP EBT Program by November 1st

Is it just more false bravado from Trump or will he make it happen via executive order? The USDA says that until a budget deal is signed there are no funds. Based on what Trump has said in past interviews (in the video) it doesn’t sound good! He talks about food riots, no water, no band aids!

Personally I believe he will let it crash in order to bring in the all digital economy, but I guess we shall soon find out. Of course if you want to participate in said digital economy you’ll have to get caught up on all of your shots including the MOTB COVID shots.

As believers in Christ let’s always pray for one another and remember the new commandment that Jesus gave us. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34.

Argentina’s Milei Takes $40B Victory Lap Courtesy American Taxpayers

Guest Post by Helena Glass from Global Research. Reposted with permission.

“Trump has a good reason to bail out Argentina.” —Politico

There are so many problems with this statement.

The largest of which is the supposition that Trump has the authority without Congressional approval.

Secondly, that money would be better invested into America where manufacturing is stalled and prices keep rising.

So why is Trump really bailing out Argentina? Because its debt holders include BlackRock, Pimco, and Fidelity as well as the Paris Group, Sandglass Capital (founder is Ukrainian, co-founder is Jewish), Kenneth Dart, and Alliance Bernstein.

The Paris Group is actually a subsidiary of Sankari Investment Group, a UAE company formed by Dr. Abdulkater Sankari. And of course, Bernstein Alliance is a Zionist global asset firm. In other words, American taxpayers are bailing out the Zionist hedge funds holding multiple trillions of wealth. Because Milei has destroyed Catholic Argentina and sold the country to Zionists.

Despite all polls and live events revealing vast disapproval of Milei – he has won the midterms by a ‘landslide’ of fraud and corruption which we will likely see in coming protests. Trump had told Milei that if he didn’t win then the $40 billion in bailout was off the table. An odd assertion given that the bailout is for the country – not Milei… Or is it?

Within the bailout, Trump is asking Milei to sell 80,000 tonnes of meat to the US. While 60% or more of Argentinians are on food subsidies due to poverty rates. And while US ranchers are scrambling to make ends meet. Creating a blitzkrieg for America? The US imports 2.1 MILLION tonnes of beef annually from Brazil, Australia and Canada. Given the tariffs Trump imposed on Canada and Brazil, and the tariff free import from Argentina, Trump is actually dictating the markets of other countries. And thus, their economies.

A power so vast and corrupted no one person should have such a levy while the US bank prints more fake paper money. The US dollar fell roughly 11% this year against other currencies and is expected to drop another 10% next year.

While US ranchers will see their profits cut, soybean farmers are watching as Argentina sells their product to China while they can’t due to the tariff war. But the order came down from on High and Trump is dutifully abiding by Israeli orders. Argentina must be saved and Milei, like Zelenskky, gets a cut.

As Trump continues his drive to surround himself with ‘yes’ men, the new Fed Chair nominees favor Kevin Hassett who previously worked with the Clinton, Romney and McCain campaigns, was a weekly columnist for Bloomberg, and advised Trump on the economic lockdown during COVID. Not exactly stellar Republican – but then neither is Trump. An economic disaster waiting in the wings unless Trump blinks and nominates Jewish BlackRock COO Rick Rieder. A move that would further the Argentina connection.

Between December 2023 and July 2025, 18,000 businesses have closed and 253,800 registered jobs have been lost in Argentina. I seriously doubt these people voted to extend Milei’s tenure. A tenure not just mired in economic collapse, but in corruption and theft as alleged against his sister whom he appointed to office given her vast political career as a high school graduate tarot reader. Neither Milei nor his ‘sister’ are in any relationship, have never been married, no children. Oddly, Milei refers to his ‘sister’ using the male pronoun when calling her el jefe, the boss.

Although Milei pretends to be an advocate of the Libertarian Party, which garnered him support from the Heritage Foundation, nothing in his background confirms anything other than the fact that he was on television a few times. The mid-terms were marred by exceptionally low turnout for a country that mandates voting. Typically, turnout ranges around 78%, however Argentina only reported a 68% turnout this election.

While measuring Argentina’s inflation as the means for determining Milei’s success is rooted in corruption, a paper released by the Journal of Monetary Economics criticizes Argentina’s voracity claiming, “Argentina’s online inflation rate is nearly three times higher than the official estimate.” In addition, the official rate of poverty is considered to be wholly underreported while GDP growth differentials were significant – .5% vs the government’s 10%. These ongoing disparities were first noted in 2007 compared to data convened by MIT.

Playing with statistics is not an unknown in America either with baskets manipulated by just about every president including Trump who has demanded the statistic reveal what he wants Americans to believe.  For example, his latest statement that beef prices have risen over 14% under his term to date, doesn’t hold water to the overall 2.8% bread basket released by his Bureau of Labor Statistics.

For now, Argentina is dutifully run by a criminal whose wealth has risen 65% in the last year. As a side note, it is interesting that Netanyahu’s original name was Milei – kowsky…

40 Billion for Zionist controlled Argentina but American’s can STARVE, that’s the message this sends to the American people. There’s $6 billion sitting at the USDA that they could use to fund the EBT and SNAP programs for now but the Trump administration refuses to do it. In the meantime they can fund Argentina with NO APPROVAL FROM CONGRESS who is supposed to be responsible for fiscal issues. As George W Bush said back in 2004, “the constitution is just a GD piece of paper!” Johnny

Internment Camps for Homeless People — Disguised as ‘Help’

Since we are on the verge of being homeless this video hit home and I decided to share it. Like I’ve been saying for years, this will be the “final solution” for the homeless. The Lord warned me about them back in 2012 and told me that the “food and water will be tainted” or poisoned in other words. Pray for us.

Title: Internment Camps for Homeless People — Disguised as ‘Help’
.
Politicians are calling it “help.” In reality, it looks a lot more like forced labor and internment camps for homeless people.
.
In this episode, I sit down with Eric Tars from the National Homelessness Law Center to unpack how billionaire-backed lobbyists and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) are driving policies that punish poverty instead of solving it. From federal funding threats to communities being pressured to criminalize homelessness, Eric explains how America’s response to homelessness is turning into a human rights crisis — and what it will take to stop it.
.
This isn’t fiction. It’s already happening.

Trump’s Bogus Drug War Targets Colombia

By Kurt Nimmo at Global Research. Reposted with permission.

On October 19, President Donald Trump added Colombia to the target list of Latin American countries he insists are behind drug production.

“President Gustavo Petro, of Columbia, is an illegal drug leader strongly encouraging the massive production of drugs, in big and small fields, all over Columbia,” Trump posted on X. “The purpose of this drug production is the sale of massive amounts of product into the United States, causing death, destruction, and havoc.”

Not only did Trump cancel “large scale payments and subsidies from the USA” slated for Colombia, he also ordered his War Department to destroy, in violation of international law and the US Constitution, what he described as a drug-carrying submarine “navigating towards the United States on a well known narcotrafficking transit route.”

He said US intelligence “confirmed this vessel was loaded up with mostly Fentanyl, and other illegal narcotics,” and two of four “terrorists” were killed, while two survivors were returned to Ecuador and Colombia “for detention and prosecution.”

The day after a million or more Americans took to the streets to protest the policies of the Trump administration, including that of his foreign policy, Trump posted from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida that Colombian President Gustavo Petro “better close up” alleged drug operations “or the United States will close them up for him, and it won’t be done nicely.”

Pedro Sánchez, the Colombian defense minister, refuted Trump’s unverified remarks.

“If there’s a country that has used all its capabilities and also lost men and women fighting drug trafficking … it’s Colombia,” he said. The baseless allegations are “disrespect from Trump to Colombia,” Sánchez added.

Petro weighed in on the claim Colombia is a narcoterrorist state.

“I ask President Trump to contain his oil greed, to think about humanity, to think about the effectiveness of a greater America,” he said.

After the War Department targeted a fishing boat in Colombian territorial waters on September 15, Petro accused the US president of murdering fisherman Alejandro Carranza and two crew members from Trinidad and Tobago.

“The boat was adrift and had its distress signal up due to an engine failure,” he explained.

Petro said Carranza did not have a connection with drug traffickers.

“His daily job is just fishing. Colombia is waiting for an official explanation from the US side.”

The elected government of Gustavo Petro (he won 50.44% of the popular vote), like that of Nicolás Maduro in neighboring Venezuela, is the target of US regime change actions. In January, Petro refused to allow a US military aircraft carrying deported Colombian nationals to land in Colombia. In response, Trump threatened to impose a 50% tariff on the country and implement travel bans and visa revocations for Colombian government officials. In response, Colombia backed down and allowed the deportees to return.

The Pink Tide vs. The Monroe Doctrine

The Trump administration is targeting Colombia and other Latin American countries in response to a so-called “pink tide” (marea rosa) or “turn to the left” (giro a la izquierda). Latin American countries have rejected the “Washington Consensus” of economic “policy prescriptions” (trade liberalization, privatization, and finance liberalization) imposed by the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the US Treasury. The austerity of these “prescriptions” resulted in social mobilization and a turn toward leftist government.

“The U.S. Government’s aggressive push to expand free trade in Latin America,” writes Nadia Martinez, “helped catapult… new leaders into the presidential palaces,” most notably Hugo Chávez in Venezuela, Evo Morales in Bolivia, and Luiz Inácio “Lula” da Silva in Brazil. The rise of socialism in Latin America drew a sharp response from the United States.

As of 2006,  approximately 300 million of Latin America’s 520 million citizens lived under governments that wanted out from under the Washington Consensus that produced “staggering levels of poverty and inequality.” The landslide victory of Hugo Chávez in Venezuela in 1998 resulted in a move to the left by a number of  Latin American countries.

“Latin America’s new leftists have produced over the last couple of years their own consensus, a common project to use the centrifugal forces of globalization to loosen Washington’s unipolar grip,” writes Greg Grandin

Soon after Trump was elected for a second term, Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. Although the administration said the primary reason for the visit was related to immigration and security arrangements, the primary reason was economic: China is the number one trading partner for South America.

“For more than two decades, China has developed close economic and security ties with many Latin American countries, including Brazil, Peru, and Venezuela,” notes the Council on Foreign Relations. “But Beijing’s increasing sway in the region continues to raise concerns in Washington, prompting greater U.S. engagement.”

For Trump, that engagement is murdering fishermen in the territorial waters of Venezuela and Colombia, illegal acts designed to elicit a response.

“While U.S. President Joe Biden saw China as a ‘strategic competitor’ in the region, the reelection of Donald Trump has marked a shift in U.S. policy toward Latin America, characterized by assertive economic measures that experts say could push countries further toward China.”

undefined

Image: Official portrait of Kash Patel, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. (Public Domain)

In response to the “threat” of China in Latin America, the Trump administration has tried to implicate it in its drug trafficking scenario. In June, FBI Director Kash Patel accused China of intentionally exacerbating the fentanyl crisis in the United States as part of a scheme to weaken America by targeting its youth. Patel went on the Joe Rogan podcast and said China is engaged in “chemical warfare” against America. “This isn’t accidental poisoning. This is strategic lethality,” he said. On October 19, Trump told reporters he wants China “to stop with the fentanyl.”

For decades, the so-called “war on drugs” has served as a justification to intervene in Latin America, most notably through Plan Colombia and the Mérida Initiative.

“Bolivian President Luis Arce became the latest regional leader to denounce the United States’ actions, accusing it of disguising geopolitical ambitions under the cloak of narcotics enforcement,” Damsana Ranadhiran wrote in August.

“We know that behind this failed international war on drugs lies the real objective to geopolitically control Latin America for its natural resources and to dismantle organized peoples, so that we cannot follow our own sovereign path,” declared Arce.

On October 19, Trump called Petro a “lunatic” and the “worst president [Colombia] ever had.” The president said Colombia has “no fight against drugs, and I’m stopping all payments to Colombia because they don’t have anything to do with their fight against drugs.”

“President Gustavo Petro, of Columbia (sic)… a low rated and very unpopular leader, with a fresh mouth toward America, better close up these killing fields immediately, or the United States will close them up for him, and it won’t be done nicely,” Trump tweeted.

In response to Trump’s caustic remarks, Colombia recalled its ambassador to the United States, Daniel Garcia-Pena. Trump’s response came the day after Petro accused the United States of murdering fishermen in the Caribbean.

Trump has made no secret of his support of autocrats in Latin America, most notably the disgraced former president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, in addition to Nayib Bukele in El Salvador, and the “libertarian” president of Argentina, Javier Milei.

“Donald Trump’s authoritarian style and policies have energized the right and the far right across the hemisphere,” writes Jeff Abbott. The United States “has revived the Monroe Doctrine, which holds that the United States has the right to intervene in Latin America to prevent other countries from gaining influence.”

Trump Sends the CIA to Undermine Venezuela

The Trump administration continues to increase pressure on Venezuela. In an unprecedented move, Trump publicly stated that he has ordered the CIA to conduct subversive operations in the country.

“I authorized for two reasons really,” Trump told reporters. “Number one, they have emptied their prisons into the United States of America… they came in through the border. The other thing are drugs.” In addition to CIA subversion, Trump floated the idea of “land strikes” in Venezuela. Asked for clarification, the president said “we are certainly looking at land now because we’ve got the sea very well under control.”

The CIA has worked to undermine governments in Latin America since the early 1950s. It organized coups and terror operations in Guatemala, Guyana, Cuba, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Nicaragua, Honduras, Grenada, El Salvador, Haiti, Panama, and Venezuela.

“The clandestine operations, espionage, secret missions, covert funding, psychological warfare and regime change tactics the U.S. has employed in Latin America for decades, continue today overtly and covertly,” writes Eva Golinger

Trump has taken this sordid history of subversion and murder to the next level. His maritime strikes likely serve as a precursor of things to come, possibly including a full blown invasion of Venezuela. The US buildup of guided-missile destroyers, F-35B jet fighters, MQ-9 Reaper drones, P-8 Poseidon spy planes, assault ships and a secretive special operations ship, in addition to more than 10,000 troops, may be nothing more than an expensive show of force in an attempt to intimidate Maduro.

However, considering Trump’s aggressive rhetoric and a military buildup that rivals the firepower the US committed to the Battle of Midway during World War II, an invasion is a distinct possibility, if not a foregone conclusion.

Is the US Preparing for War Against Venezuela?

By Marc Vandepitte at globalresearch.ca. Reposted with permission.

War Drums in the Caribbean

Suppose a Russian or Chinese fleet were to station off our coasts in Europe and torpedo boats. We would be in the highest state of alarm and would prepare everything to repel a military attack.

This is not fiction, but exactly what is currently taking place off the coasts of Venezuela, where the US has deployed a war fleet in recent weeks. It includes destroyers, missile-equipped warships, F-35 fighter jets, reconnaissance aircraft, an attack submarine, more than 4,000 Marines, and even a nuclear submarine.

In addition, an estimated 10,000 US military personnel are in the region, mainly in Puerto Rico and on amphibious ships.

This war fleet is not a parade. In recent weeks, the Trump administration ordered at least five deadly attacks on boats it calls “drug boats,” without evidence. Twenty-seven people were killed. In these attacks, there is no question of arrest or trial. The New York City Bar Association condemns these acts of war as “illegal extrajudicial executions — murders.”

As if the maritime attacks were not enough, B-52 bombers were observed close to Venezuelan airspace. At the same time, President Trump openly admitted that he had given the CIA the green light for secret operations in Venezuela, with a broad mandate ranging from cooperation with local opposition groups to lethal actions on Venezuelan territory, according to American sources.

The war deployment and the attacks against the boats are being sold as a “war on drugs,” but that excuse doesn’t hold for two reasons. First, Colombia and Ecuador constitute the main routes for cocaine heading toward the US. Venezuela plays, at most, a secondary role in this drug trade.

Second, it is evident that such a large-scale military buildup is totally unsuitable for an operation against drug trafficking.

A much more aggressive goal is being pursued here. The Trump administration does not say it openly, but it is clear that it is keeping open the option of ground attacks, with the aim of regime change.

Motives Revealed

In Washington’s eyes, Venezuela combines three “sins”: the largest oil reserves in the world over which the US has no grip, a sovereign foreign policy — marked by alliances with China, Russia, Iran, OPEC, and South–South networks — and a social project that utilizes natural resources for public purposes.

That is why, since 1998, when Hugo Chávez was elected president, the US has done everything to carry out regime change and install a puppet government. That ranged from economic sanctions, diplomatic warfare, coup attempts, influencing and manipulating elections, to secret operations.

Recently, General Laura Richardson, the former commander of the US Southern Command—which directs US military operations in the Caribbean and around Venezuela—openly admitted what Washington usually conceals behind words like “democracy” and “human rights.”

According to her, US policy in Latin America is in reality about controlling the enormous natural resources of the region—oil, lithium, gold, and rare earths—needed for Western military and technological power.

She pointed above all to Venezuela’s huge resource reserves as the real reason behind the decades-long attempts at regime change and the economic sanctions against the country.

“Peace Dove” as a Fig Leaf for War

Image is licensed under CC0

In the political theater, meanwhile, a face “acceptable” to the US emerges to replace the current President Maduro: the far-right opposition leader María Corina Machado.

With support from top figures in Washington and a Nobel Peace Prize in her pocket, she is being polished up internationally as a democratic alternative—despite her role in the 2002 coup attempt, open support for sanctions, and the violent street protests in 2014 and 2017.

Machado’s position has been clear for years: no negotiations, increase the pressure, toughen sanctions, and, if necessary, military intervention. Her Nobel Prize comes precisely at a moment when Washington is making war preparations against Venezuela. Could that be a coincidence?

In any case, it is downright cynical that in the West she is being deployed as a peace icon at the moment when Trump openly speaks of ground attacks that she approves and encourages.

Sharp Condemnation

Because of this military threat, the Venezuelan government has requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council. There, a call was made for de-escalation and respect for international law. The UN Assistant Secretary-General pointed out that member states must carry out their anti-drug operations in accordance with international law.

At home, President Nicolás Maduro is responding with national defense exercises, the plan ‘Independence 200′, while also emphasizing the call for dialogue. In Caracas and the state of Miranda, civilian militias, police, and the army are training together to protect strategic infrastructure such as electricity, water supply, and hospitals.

In Latin America, work is meanwhile underway on the formation of internationalist brigades to support Venezuela. According to João Pedro Stédile, leader of the Brazilian Movement of Landless Peasants (MST), social organizations from different countries of Latin America are coordinating their efforts to send activists who will make themselves available to help defend Venezuela against US aggression.

The inspiration comes from the international brigades of the Spanish Civil War, when volunteers from many countries came to defend the Spanish Republic.

Several presidents from the region have spoken out against Washington’s threat of war. Gustavo Petro, the president of Colombia, warned that any attack on Venezuela would be considered an aggression against all of Latin America and the Caribbean.

“Latin America, South America and the Caribbean must unite now to reject and respond to any aggression against Bolívar’s homeland and the Latin American and Caribbean territory, without rhetoric. Venezuela belongs to the Venezuelan people,” Petro said.

The Brazilian president Lula also spoke out forcefully against US aggression:

“The Venezuelan people are masters of their own future. And no president of another country needs to determine what Venezuela will be like.”

China condemned any threat or use of force in international relations. Beijing resolutely rejects any foreign interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs, under whatever pretext. It condemns any action that endangers peace and stability in the area.

In the US, a bipartisan group of senators has introduced a resolution to prevent President Trump from carrying out military actions against Venezuela without the approval of Congress. They want to restore the constitutional authority of Congress to declare war and stop the expansion of Trump’s military power in the Caribbean under the pretext of the “war on drugs.”

Also very remarkable is that Admiral Alvin Holsey, head of the US Southern Command, has submitted his resignation. According to The New York Times, Holsey opposes the massive troop buildup in the region and the bombing of five Venezuelan boats, attacks for which no evidence was provided that they were drug-carrying vessels.

Within the Pentagon, serious disagreements are said to have arisen between Holsey and Minister of War Pete Hegseth, and according to Reuters, the admiral stepped down just before a possible dismissal.

Oil, Ideology, and Lies

Anyone who thinks back to 2003 can easily see parallels. Back then, weapons of mass destruction had to justify the invasion of Iraq. The real goal was a geopolitical redrawing and control over oil.

Today, “narco-terrorism” and a “threat to the US” serve as a rhetorical pretense. The end goal remains the same: regime change and the dismantling of the Bolivarian Revolution, an important anti-colonial point of reference in Latin America.

History teaches that military interventions exact a heavy toll: thousands and thousands of deaths, countries laid waste, and a region in permanent instability. Just think of Iraq and Libya. The current war buildup off the coast of Venezuela is therefore extremely alarming and must be condemned in the sharpest possible terms.

Satellite pics reveal Venezuela SURROUNDED by US Reaper drones and military aircraft

As the US builds up a force in the Caribbean, Philip Ingram discusses the possibility of an invasion of Venezuela. Recent satellite images reveal an AC-130 Gunship and Reaper drones positioned in prime areas to attack Venezuela.

Also let’s not forget that last week Trump authorized the use of covert ops in Venezuela and those operatives and informants are already in place in the country. Spec Ops may be going in next, we shall see how it develops over the week. Like the report says until we see doctors, nurses and blood banks being sent down then a major action is probably not imminent. So far it’s just an exercise.

Trump 2.0’s Eurasian Balancing Act Has Failed

Guest Post by Andrew Korybko

His arrogant and aggressive behavior towards Russia, India, and China is responsible for this.

The global systemic transition to multipolarity is nowadays proceeding along a different trajectory than before due to recent shifts in the international system. Up until this point, Trump 2.0 sought resource and military partnerships with Russia and India respectively that could decelerate China’s superpower rise, which would then make it the junior partner in any “G2”/“Chimerica” deal. His Eurasian balancing act has failed, however, due to his arrogant and aggressive approach towards all three countries.

Ties with Russia took a hit after the Anchorage Summit following increasingly concerning reports about US plans to support NATO troops in Ukraine, thus spooking Putin into abandoning his country’s own Eurasian balancing act by pivoting to China. This took the form of the legally binding deal that was just clinched for constructing the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline. The US’ envisaged resource-centric partnership with Russia, which aimed to entice concessions on Ukraine, is now much less likely.

As for India, ties worsened during its springtime clashes with Pakistan, which saw Trump favor Pakistan and even lie about India agreeing to an alleged US-mediated ceasefire. The US then hypocritically imposed punitive tariffs on India over its continued trade with Russia despite eschewing such for China and others. All the while, Trump viciously insulted India too. Concluding that he’s hellbent on derailing its rise as a Great Power, India swiftly patched up its problems with China and distanced itself from the US.

With Russia pivoting to China via Power of Siberia 2 amidst the Sino-Indo rapprochement, the resource and military means for decelerating China’s superpower rise through partnerships with them were neutralized, thus leading to any “G2”/“Chimerica” deal now being in China’s favor instead. President Xi Jinping accordingly espoused stronger rhetoric about reshaping the world order during his speeches at the SCO Summit and V-J Day, which prompted Trump to accuse him of “conspiring” against the US.

The interim Sino-US trade deal is now in jeopardy after he just threatened the imposition of 100% tariffs on China by 1 November or earlier depending on when China imposes its export controls on rare earth minerals. Coupled with his dramatic accusation that Xi is “conspiring” against the US in collusion with Putin and Kim Jong Un, this could presage future military-strategic tensions, even if only indirectly via proxy. That would further destabilize Eurasia per the US’ traditional divide-and-rule stratagem.

In clockwise order, these could take the form of: fomenting Color Revolution unrest in Mongolia in order to undermine Power of Siberia 2; Japan, Taiwan, and/or the Philippines provoking an incident with China at sea in contested waters; obstructing China’s access to rare earth minerals in Myanmar’s Kachin State; and/or sowing instability in Central Asia via NATO member Turkiye through the new TRIPP Corridor. China’s response to these scenarios could be to arm Russia and even send troops to help it in Ukraine.

Xi saw how Trump mistreated his friend Modi despite him leading a state that could have joined the US’ anti-Chinese axis, while also watching how he’s betraying Putin in Ukraine after Anchorage, so he expects similar treatment if he agrees to a “G2”/ “Chimerica” deal. He also knows that China now has a target on its back after the latest tariffs and Trump accusing him of a “conspiracy”. It’s therefore little wonder that Trump 2.0’s Eurasian balancing act, which was characterized by arrogance and aggression, has failed.

Is Donald Trump Intent Upon Imposing Martial Law in America?

Guest Post by Kurt Nimmo at Globalresearch.ca

History

In 1936, the Nazi dictatorship in Germany organized SiPo, or Sicherheitspolizei.

The move merged the Gestapo (Geheime Staatspolizei) and the Kriminalpolizei (Kripo, the criminal police). SiPo targeted political opposition to the Nazis, primarily communists and socialists.

In early 1941, the Wehrmacht chief of staff Franz Halder targeted unarmed socialists and communists. It used the Einsatzgruppen death squads to murder them.

“Entire hordes of communists are now being shot and hanged on an almost daily basis,” Second Lieutenant Peter Geissler of the 714th Infantry Division wrote home in July, 1941.

“I cannot help feeling that the panic fear of the Western world of the term communism, this fear by which the fascists have so long maintained themselves, is somewhat superstitious and childish and one of the greatest follies of our epoch,” wrote Thomas wrote after the war.

Is Folly Emerging in America under the Rule of President Donald Trump?

On October 8, the Trump administration held a briefing on Antifa, the autonomous and decentralized anti-fascist political movement. During this meeting, the MAGA influencer Jonathan Choe linked Antifa to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

“Another group right now that is behind antifa and working with antifa very closely based on the research that we have right now that we’re gonna give to you and your team are the Democratic Socialists of America,” Choe said. He argued that Antifa is part of what he called the “homeless complex.”

Trump considers his political opponents, who are primarily Democrats, to be not only socialists, but also communists, Marxists, fascists, and, most tellingly, “enemies from within.”

Last October, he said the

“crazy lunatics that we have—the fascists, the Marxists, the communists, the people that we have that are actually running the country…

Those people are more dangerous—the enemy from within—than Russia and China and other people.”

More recently, during a military conclave at Marine Corps Base Quantico, in Virginia, Trump insisted the United States is “under invasion from within. No different than a foreign enemy, but more difficult in many ways because they don’t wear uniforms. At least when they’re wearing a uniform you can take them out.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi said the Trump administration will use the same tactic it is using against Venezuelan fishermen, falsely accused of being “narcoterrorists.”

In short, murdering political enemies without arrest and due process. “Just like we did with cartels” Bondi said,

“we’re going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa. Destroy the entire organization from top to bottom. We’re going to take them apart.”

Former US Navy intelligence officer and alt-right activist Jack Posobiec said during the roundtable that Antifa “has been going on for almost 100 years … going back to the Weimar Republic in Germany.” Posobiec appears to be saying that the anti-fascist movement aligned against Hitler and the Nazis was a bad thing.

“If you’ll remember, those were the people taking issue with the early versions of the Nazis,” writes Holly Baxter. “But it’s sort of difficult to position yourself as the good guys if you’re aligning yourself with the Nazis in your historical analogy.”

Kristi Noem, Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security, added that the non-organization of Antifa is determined to “destroy the American people and their way of life” and has “infiltrated our entire country,” from “city to city,” a ludicrous assertion considering the Trump administration is unable to provide evidence that the organization even exists. Noem added that Antifa is “just as dangerous” as MS-13, ISIS, Hezbollah, and Hamas. Her priority is “making sure they never see the light again.”

Because the Trump administration will have a difficult time destroying Antifa—due to its lack of structure, command hierarchy, or leader, in short because it does not exist as an organization—it will instead concentrate on visible targets such as George Soros and the Democratic Socialists of America.

It should be noted that Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, both members of the Democratic Party, were DSA members. House of Representatives member Rashida Tlaib is also associated with the DSA, as is Cori Bush, the US representative for the 1st congressional district of Missouri. Zohran Mamdan, a contender for mayor of New York City, is a DSA member.

Targeting Progressive Organizations

Following the roundtable on Antifa, MAGA supporters went on social media and added targets to the Trump list of “extremists” compared to ISIS, including

  • Young Democratic Socialists of America (described as the “polite face” of Antifa),
  • The National Lawyers Guild,
  • Act Blue,
  • Code Pink,
  • The Alliance for Global Justice.

In short, virtually all progressive groups opposed to Trump and MAGA Republicans.

Trump’s roundtable on Antifa may result in an American version of the Reichstag Fire Decree that disabled the civil liberties of German citizens.

The decree was used to imprison and ultimately murder those opposed to the fascist government of Hitler and the Nazis. The decree made it “permissible to restrict the rights of personal freedom, freedom of (opinion) expression, including the freedom of the press, the freedom to organize and assemble, the privacy of postal, telegraphic and telephonic communications.”

During the October 8 roundtable, Trump boasted that his administration “took the freedom of speech away, because that’s been through the courts, and the courts said you have freedom of speech but what has happened is when they burn the flag it agitates and irritates crowds.” He said this despite the fact the Supreme Court ruled in 1989 (Texas v. Johnson) that laws prohibiting flag desecration violate free speech rights.

In May of 2025, the US Supreme Court ruled that Trump had violated the due process rights of Venezuelan migrants when “he tried to expedite deportations to an infamous El Salvador prison using a wartime authority,” according to Courthouse News Service. In response, Vice President JD Vance suggested suspending due process rights, a violation of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution.

Towards A Martial Law Declaration?

In a move indicating Trump is serious about “taking out” his political enemies, he threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act when a federal judge prevented him from sending troops, in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, to Portland, Oregon to counter anti-ICE protests.

The Insurrection Act provides a statutory exception to Posse Comitatus, which limits the federal government from sending troops to enforce civil and criminal lawAccording to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Trump has “plenary authority” to invoke the Insurrection Act.

“Trump continues to test the limits of his power, and now he is doing so with respect to the military,” writes John Feffer. “He is doing so either to govern just short of a martial law declaration—or in preparation to make that declaration at some future date… He is using the immigration issue as a pretext to expand his control over public institutions and legitimate the unconstitutional suppression of the freedoms of speech and assembly.”

America is one false flag or actual terrorist event away from the imposition of martial law, the roundup of not only immigrants, but also those who oppose his administration. During his first term, then national security adviser Michael Flynn urged the president “to exercise the Extraordinary Powers of his office and declare limited Martial Law to temporarily suspend the Constitution,” noted William Arkin.

Flynn made the remark in 2021, but the sentiment remains today as Trump orders troops to Portland and Chicago, ostensibly to contain violent crime and protests at Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities. Federal troops have escalated violence against protesters, most recently in Chicago’s Brighten Park when a woman was shot five times.

In another incident, Department of Homeland Security agents shot a nonviolent Presbyterian pastor in the head with a pepper ball during a demonstration outside an ICE facility in Broadview in Chicago.
