Don’t Believe A Lie

This is from my personal Spiritual Warfare Bible. I was told to share this today as I was in prayer and study. Some of you may have had an emotional experience in a church and you THOUGHT you were saved, yet you know there hasn’t been any real change in your life. You struggle with sin far too much and you can’t understand why. Or maybe you were told that “once saved always saved” is the true path and that if you confessed you believe Jesus died for you and rose again that you were covered. Now you can live as you want because you said those words once. WRONG.

If you are truly born again spiritually you will have a sincere desire to learn more about Jesus and how to get closer to Him, not go back to your old sinful ways and party like a rock star. You can’t live in the word and in the world at the same time. I tried that once when I was trying to please the world and “fit in” so to speak. It doesn’t work because the two worlds are always at odds. Jesus put it this way: “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Matthew 6:24 NLT

Far too many people are living in the fantasy bubbles of the prosperity gospel, once saved always saved and so on. Everyone (especially in America) expects God to be there to bless their own will and decisions they make, good or bad. They never ask God for permission or what His will for their lives is, they simply seek their own way and expect God to bless them. When that doesn’t happen many fall away from the faith completely or they grumble nonstop. Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. James 5:9

I don’t know who needed to see this today but I was prompted to share this with you all. If this is you or you THINK it might be describing you, please humble yourself and repent now. Time is short, the prayer is easy and short. Just be humble and sincere and salvation will be yours!

Be not afraid because of them…

Faith Comes By Hearing the Word of God

6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.  Joshua 11:6

That scripture jumped out today because of what we’re facing as believers in Jesus. Joshua and his armies were surrounded by their enemies on all sides yet God delivered them as promised. He will do the same for us in this time as well.

When you feel surrounded remember to PRAY and let God’s power take over the problem or situation you face. As we move into the great tribulation we will be faced with times like Joshua faced. It is then we will have to rely on God’s will and power. Think Psalm 23 and 91.

Remember we serve the most high God and we are NOT to fear what men can do to us. Fear God only and seek God first daily so you are ready for the fight when it comes!

Bible Study: Looking Forward to Our new Home!

We all know the day is coming and we should be excited as it draws near! Yes even in these dark times we can have JOY! Joy in the knowledge that as believers in Jesus we being to a different place, this world is not our home!

Pray for God’s strength and don’t rely on your own, it will fail! Pray for wisdom and discernment, endurance and patience. Those will be needed most in the times to come. Enjoy the video and God bless!
