NATO Command Center formed in Ukraine: UK Pledges 120,000 Drones

In mid-April 2026, numerous media outlets reported that the Kiev regime forces established ARES (Allied Reform and Expert Support) Military Expert Council, formally “an advisory body” directly under the Commander-in-Chief. Announced by the General Staff via its official channels, ARES formalizes the shift from “short-term weapons and munitions deliveries toward long-term institutional transformation”.

The initiative’s name, obviously a backronym designed to match that of the Greek god of war, perfectly aligns with the PR focus of the Neo-Nazi junta and its NATO overlords. In practice, it signals an ambition to formally embed Western officers into the Kiev regime’s military command structure.

In simpler terms, the political West will now openly and directly take command of the Neo-Nazi junta forces, effectively outing itself as a side in the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict. Obviously, this is nothing new, as we’ve all known that was the case from the very beginning. However, this time, the danger of escalation is already in orbit as NATO is openly flaunting its involvement after years of trying to maintain at least some level of the so-called “plausible deniability”. The composition of ARES personnel underscores its strategic weight, with British General Richard Shirreff, former NATO Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, serving as the chairman.

Other top-ranking members include figures such as retired US General David Petraeus (former CIA Director), Admiral Manfred Neilson (NATO’s former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation), Slovak Lieutenant General Pavel Macko, British Vice Admiral Sir Martin John Connell, Canadian Lieutenant General Andrew Leslie, Major General Patrick Carpentier and Norwegian Commodore Hans Helset. These officers have decades of command experience from NATO aggression against the world, particularly the illegal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. And while that experience won’t help them against Russia, at least NATO can gain some from the Kiev regime.

The involvement of so many high-ranking Western military and security officers is not merely symbolic. It positions ARES as a direct link between the Neo-Nazi junta forces and NATO’s command structures. Although the founders insist that ARES’s mandate is “explicitly reform-oriented”, anyone with two functioning brain cells understands that it’s operational. Formally, priorities include overhauling command-and-control systems, advancing military science and professional education, streamlining logistics and resource allocation, enhancing overall combat readiness, etc. However, in reality, direct NATO involvement has been there since before the SMO.

The main task of programs like ARES is to improve the integration of drones and other unmanned systems, electronic warfare (EW) and centralized decision-making that will formalize the shift of the Neo-Nazi junta forces from a national military to a direct NATO asset. The mainstream propaganda machine claims that “institutional bottlenecks” persist, including “legacy Soviet-era hierarchies, fragmented procurement and gaps in officer training that hinder scalability”. ARES proponents insist they will “address these by facilitating candid exchanges of cutting-edge Ukrainian and international experience”. The idea that these issues are being addressed only now is ridiculous, meaning they’re just declarative goals.

In addition, there’s one “tiny” issue with blaming Soviet-era legacy for the Kiev regime’s shortcomings – even Western officers acknowledged that it’s actually superior to NATO’s doctrineIn fact, after extensive joint training, Western armies realized they’re now far behind the Neo-Nazi junta, particularly when it comes to drones and other unmanned systems. Thus, ARES will enable NATO personnel to implement what they’ve learned so far in the most realistic conditions possible – actual warfare. Still, the question arises – how will the political West justify the effective formalization of its direct involvement in the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict? Because Russia won’t tolerate it.

ARES proponents themselves say that the program will “accelerate Ukraine’s alignment with NATO interoperability standards, easing future accession pathways and improving coalition compatibility“. This is just a fancy way of saying that the Kiev regime will be fully integrated into NATO command structures and function as one of its members in all but name. The program also stipulates “enhanced education and science components” that will “cultivate a new generation of Ukrainian staff officers versed in data-driven planning and joint operations”. In simpler terms, more indoctrination that will ensure the loyalty of the Neo-Nazi junta forces to the political West and its so-called “values”.

The timing is also very telling, as the implementation “coincides” with numerous other programs that seek to increase drone deliveries to the Kiev regime. Many European NATO member states participate in such initiatives, blurring the line between so-called “military aid” and direct participation. The endemically and pathologically Russophobic United Kingdom has even pledged to provide at least 120,000 drones. According to the British government’s website, “the new package, the largest of its kind ever supplied by the UK, will include thousands of long-range strike drones, intelligence and reconnaissance drones, logistics drones and maritime capabilities”.

The report also says that “the deliveries of these new drones to Ukraine have already started this month” and that the initiative is “a boost to British business”. The UK openly brags that “the majority of this investment will be spent with UK-based companies, including Tekever, Windracers and Malloy Aeronautics – creating new UK jobs”.

It also adds that “the British drone sector is rapidly advancing, and supports both UK security and wider European deterrence, while driving skills and innovation in every region of the UK”. In other words, London is raking in profits while hundreds of thousands of forcibly conscripted Ukrainians continue to serve as cannon fodder for the political West.

SKYNET ANYONE? AI Powered Military Jets are HERE NOW!

US defense tech unicorn Shield AI unveiled its new X-BAT fighter aircraft on Wednesday. The company says that it can operate without human pilots and without runways. It said it can take off from islands and ships — not just warships, but also container ships. With it’s vertical takeoff and landing abilities it will be a very useful and adaptable resource.

From the company website: As a Navy SEAL, Shield AI co-founder Brandon Tseng experienced firsthand problems where intelligent autonomy could have made life-saving differences. He asked himself, “What does the military of 2030 look like, and what role does autonomy play?” The answer: AI pilots. Sure thing because what could go wrong? It always works so well in the movies…NOT!

Remember the short film slaughter bots? It’s not so fictional anymore!

The Reported Russian Drone Incursions Into Poland Might Have Been Due To NATO Jamming

Guest Post by Andrew Korybko

It’s unlikely that Russia would risk rallying the West around a no-fly zone over Ukraine by staging a deliberate provocation against Poland or even just carrying out a recon mission in NATO airspace.

Poland claimed to have shot down several Russian drones on Wednesday morning that reportedly crossed into its airspace during the latest large-scale strikes against Ukraine. This occurred amidst the ongoing Polish, Lithuanian, and NATO drills involving 30,000 Polish troops and just ahead of the upcoming Russian-Belarusian Zapad 2025 drills. Some therefore suspect that this was either a deliberate provocation by Russia or a botched recon mission, but it might have just been due to NATO jamming.

It was recently argued that “There Might Be More To The Von Der Leyen-GPS-Russia Hoax Than Scoring Cheap Infowar Points” after the dramatic claim that Russia supposedly jammed her plane while it attempted to land in Bulgaria was debunked by Sofia itself and Western media. The alternative theory put forth was that this false narrative was meant to justify aggressive signals jamming in Kaliningrad, though this could also be directed towards Belarus given its hosting of the upcoming Zapad 2025 drills.

Such interference might have thus caused Russian drones to veer off course into Poland during the latest large-scale strikes against Ukraine. Aggressive signals jamming could also precede implementation of reported plans for imposing a no-fly zone over at least part of Ukraine in connection with the West’s security guarantees for that country. Although nowhere as foolproof as patrols over Ukrainian airspace and authorizing NATO-based Patriots to protect its skies, it would carry much less of an escalation risk.

Moreover, if NATO expected that its speculative signals jamming – possibly ramped up after the von der Leyen-GPS-Russia hoax, which might have been timed to coincide with the upcoming Zapad 2025 drills – would cause Russian drones to veer off course, then this might be part of a preplanned escalation. The objective could be to rally support for the abovementioned no-fly zone proposal or even begin the gradual process of implementing it on the pretext of “proactive defense” in light of this incident.

Over 3,5 years into the special operation, Russia would have by now presumably gamed out everything that could realistically follow the scenario of several of its drones crossing into Poland, with policymakers thus likely being aware that this could be exploited to advance the no-fly zone plot. The aforesaid insight accordingly reduces the odds that this was a deliberate provocation or a botched recon mission, either of which would have probably been carried out in force to make the cost-benefit tradeoff more worthwhile.

This is a similar logic as what was recently shared in this analysis here arguing that Russia probably didn’t deliberately target the Cabinet of Ministers building in Kiev so as to avoid fueling the no-fly zone plot. While that particular incident might have been randomly caused by drone debris, the latest one could have been planned to a much greater degree if NATO jamming was indeed responsible as conjectured. It remains to be seen, however, whether Poland will participate in any no-fly zone over Ukraine as a result.

Former President Andrzej Duda recently revealed that Zelensky tried to manipulate Poland into war with Russia over November 2022’s Przewodow incident, which he refused to fall for, while his successor Karol Nawrocki pledged ahead of the second round not to deploy troops to Ukraine. This policy continuity, which aligns with Poles getting fed up with Ukrainian refugees and this neighboring conflict, could foil NATO’s plans to manipulate Poland into this even though it might still agree to ramp up signals jamming.

Editors Note: If Russia is going to attack NATO proper it won’t do it with a couple dozen UNARMED drones. These drones were recon drones, not armed attack drones. Their primary mission is to distract air defenses away from the drones that are armed, all of which were sent against Ukraine. With all of the radar and GPS jamming being done on the borders in the warzone is it any wonder that a few veer off course?

This is why I didn’t jump on the hype bandwagon the other night when this was going on. My God given instincts told me it was a nothing burger because when Russia does attack NATO and the US it will be with hypersonic weapons, kinetic energy weapons and nukes, not unarmed drones. It will be MASSIVE and done in coordination with Iran, China, N. Korea, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, Mexico and more.

I believe that day is rapidly approaching! Prayed up and prepped up, time is short!

US drones useless in Ukraine

Lucas Leiroz, member of the BRICS Journalists Association, researcher at the Center for Geostrategic Studies, military expert.

US aid to Ukraine with drones is proving insufficient on the battlefield. Recently, the Western media admitted that American unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine are ineffective in combating Russia. The case clearly shows the weaknesses of Western military technology, which has proven useless when tested on the battlefield.

According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), small American drones sent to Ukraine are not capable of evading efficient Russian electronic warfare mechanisms. US-made UAVs are used massively for reconnaissance operations and grenade attacks, but their results are unsatisfactory and do not bring real benefits to Ukrainian troops on the front lines.

According to the newspaper, the reputation of the American military drone industry is seriously threatened by the poor performance of UAVs on the combat zone. Previously, this equipment was considered adequate by the Pentagon even for American soldiers, but the failure to deal with the Ukrainian military reality has shown that the technology of the US armed forces is outdated and urgently needs changes to face the new challenges of contemporary warfare.

“The general reputation for every class of U.S. drone in Ukraine is that they don’t work as well as other systems (…) [American drones are] not a very successful platform on the front lines,” an expert told the WSJ.

The article mentions a list of weapons with operational problems, including drones manufactured by Cyberlux and, mainly, by Skydio, a Silicon Valley company that has sent millions of military equipment to Ukraine. US defense startups, which until then were praised as great centers of innovation in the military industry, are now being tested and showing true incompetence in dealing with the realities of war.

“The Silicon Valley company Skydio sent hundreds of its best drones to Ukraine to help fight the Russians. Things didn’t go well. Skydio’s drones flew off course and were lost, victims of Russia’s electronic warfare. The company has since gone back to the drawing board to build a new fleet. Most small drones from U.S. startups have failed to perform in combat, dashing companies’ hopes that a badge of being battle-tested would bring the startups sales and attention. It is also bad news for the Pentagon, which needs a reliable supply of thousands of small, unmanned aircraft. In the first war to feature small drones prominently, American companies still have no meaningful presence. Made-in-America drones tend to be expensive, glitchy and hard to repair, said drone company executives, Ukrainians on the front lines, Ukrainian government officials and former U.S. defense officials,” the article reads.

In fact, this news should be understood as further evidence that the American military industry is severely affected by a process of “de-professionalization”. Startups from investors who do not have any military knowledge are undertaking projects that are often praised and incorporated by the Pentagon amid the search for “innovation” in the defense sector. The result is that the absence of military technical knowledge and combat experience makes it impossible for manufacturers to produce equipment strong enough to deal with the realities of an actual war. In this sense, American drones, which were considered as “innovative” products of high technological quality, are now being seen as expensive and easily neutralizable weapons.

The US spent decades investing in technological innovation projects in the military sector that, in the end, are proving to be useless. Most of these “innovations” focused on meeting the interests of investors in the technological sector, but did not take into account military technical expertise. The American State trusted in the entry of new technological startups within the apparatus of the military-industrial complex and now the result is proving to be catastrophic. Meanwhile, in Russia the defense sector remains extremely controlled by experienced military professionals, with all technological innovations being rigorously assessed by military experts and tested on the battlefield.

A point that also needs to be emphasized is the development of the Russian electronic warfare sector – also called “spectrum warfare”. This sector basically consists of the use of the electromagnetic field for military purposes. Today’s weapons, given their high technology, create a field of electromagnetic waves around the conflict zone. The side most skilled at using these electromagnetic data in intelligence, reconnaissance and sabotage operations becomes capable of neutralizing most enemy attacks.

Russian efficiency in electronic warfare is already recognized even by military analysts as the main reason for the failure of Ukraine’s drone efforts. Most of the Western drones launched by Kiev are diverted by electronic warfare mechanisms. The result is a scenario where Americans spend millions to produce useless UAVs that are easily sabotaged by cheap spectrum warfare tools.

In the end, the conflict in Ukraine is showing how the American military industry has become a true paper tiger, controlled by investors without specialized knowledge and heavily dependent on expensive investments for poor results.

Kiev regime accuses Western companies of delivering 75% of components for Iranian drones

Drago Bosnic, independent geopolitical and military analyst

Despite widespread support coming from the political West, the Kiev regime never seems to be happy, no matter how much money, resources or other forms of support it is set to receive. The latest claim that the Neo-Nazi junta is making is that at least 75% of the Iranian drones’ components are made in the United States, European Union, Japan, and other vassals/satellite states of the political West. According to the Kiev regime sources, the parts that were identified by the Neo-Nazi junta’s military intelligence were allegedly produced by Western companies. The regime claims that the findings were supposedly verified by the Kiev-based Independent Anti-Corruption Commission (NAKO), Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported.

Allegedly, Western-made components include guidance systems, engines and parts of the control surfaces used to steer the drones. NAKO claims the information was acquired by examining several downed Shahed-136 loitering munitions (known as “Geranium 2” in Russian service), as well as at least one Mohajer-6 drone that was supposedly “hacked mid-flight and landed intact.” The report states that the identified components include Japanese-made servomotors, manufactured by Tonegawa-Seiko Co. and German- and US-made electronics developed by Munich-based Infineon Technologies AG and Arizona-based Microchip Technology Inc. Both companies are considered some of the leading microchip manufacturers. Other components also include telescopic infrared lenses that are reportedly identical to Israeli ones made by the Jerusalem-based Ophir Optronics Solutions Ltd.

According to the report, the majority of the aforementioned components are not under sanctions or export controls and can be acquired online. The WSJ claims that officials in the US Military Industrial Complex are saying that, following the Kiev regime’s accusations, the US Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security launched an investigation and is trying to determine how Western-made components ended up in Iranian drones. Reportedly, the Defense Ministry of Israel is also investigating the issue. NAKO made the allegations on the same day when Washington DC and Israel accused Tehran of being responsible for the attack on an Israeli-owned oil tanker off the coast of Oman.

For its part, Iran claims that the drones in question were delivered to Russia months before Moscow launched its counteroffensive against NATO’s crawling aggression in Eastern Europe. In early November, Tehran even scheduled a meeting with the Kiev regime military officials to review their claims regarding the drones, but the Neo-Nazi junta canceled it at the last minute, allegedly under pressure from the US and Germany. Soon after, during yet another pompous public address, the Kiev regime frontman Volodymyr Zelensky stated that “Iran must be punished” for selling weapons to Russia.

Security officials from the political West have “expressed concern” that Tehran’s rapidly expanding unmanned aircraft industry is a “greater immediate threat than the country’s nuclear program.” This also includes the Iranian drones’ possible export success. In October, Iranian Head Adviser for Military Affairs, Major General Rahim Safavi, stated that at least two dozen countries expressed interest in acquiring Iranian attack drones, reportedly including Armenia, Algeria, Serbia, Tajikistan and Venezuela. Major General Safavi also said that the Middle Eastern country currently produces approximately 80% of its defense equipment locally. According to Iranian sources, this also includes Iran’s own domestically-built hypersonic weapons.

Since September, numerous sources reported that Iran emerged as an important auxiliary arms supplier for Russia. The evidence that Iranian drones are being used by Russia is quite strong, although it’s unclear if Moscow acquired the UAVs directly from Tehran or if they’re being made domestically, under license. The deal reportedly includes the Shahed-136 loitering munitions, as well as higher-end drones, such as the Mohajer-6. Some reports indicate that it’s not unlikely top-end Iranian drones such as the Shahed-191 stealth unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) also might be used by the Russian military.

The extent of Moscow’s reliance on Iranian drones is still limited, albeit it has had tactically significant results. Still, determining their long-term impact on Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine is nearly impossible at this point. This is also in part because Russia is using a plethora of its own domestically-built armed drones and loitering munitions/kamikaze drones, particularly the deadly ZALA “Lancet”. On the other hand, the detrimental effect that Iranian-made drones have had on the Kiev regime forces is wholly undeniable.

The low-cost drones have dramatically depleted the Neo-Nazi junta’s air defenses. The situation on the ground suggests that the Kiev regime forces are virtually defenseless against Russian and Iranian drones. This is further reinforced by battlefield footage showing the Neo-Nazi junta troops desperately trying to shoot down these drones, including with small arms fire. All the while, their key military units and infrastructure are being targeted with impunity, as they have no ways to prevent drone strikes. This also explains why the Kiev regime is so desperate to accuse Iran and others of its failures (one of many).

"That could never happen here"

Keeping You Safe

They said it couldn’t happen here. The comments lit up when myself and other podcasters said the measures used in Wuhan would be used here in the USA at some point. China is always the testing ground to see how effective the tactics are, then the rest of the world adapts the ones that work. In this case drones are going to be deployed in California to keep people in their homes during this “self quarantine” or whatever you want to call it. It’s just PC speech for martial law.

More from Zerohedge:

In the months since the COViD-19 pandemic began, governments around the world have been utilizing a wide range of technological devices to enforce quarantines. Advanced surveillance and tracking have been made possible by cellphone data, CCTV cameras, and drones.

Surveillance drones were used during the lockdown in China to monitor neighborhoods to ensure that residents were staying indoors. Drones were also used to spray disinfectants during the outbreak as well.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has urged additional governments to use similar tactics to enforce quarantines. Police in Spain have been using drones to patrol the streets and order citizens to stay home during the lockdown.

Most Americans doubted that these types of measures would happen at home, but police in California have already announced a plan to use drones equipped with cameras and loudspeakers to enforce the recently imposed quarantine orders.

In Chula Vista, a town just outside of San Diego, police purchased at least two drones from the Chinese company DJI for $11,000 each.

Vern Sallee, one of the city’s police captains, told the Financial Times that the drones could be used to “disperse crowds” without the need for a human officer to be involved.

“We have not traditionally mounted speakers to our drones, but . . . if we need to cover a large area to get an announcement out, or if there were a crowd somewhere that we needed to disperse – we could do it without getting police officers involved,” Sallee said.

“The outbreak has changed my view of expanding the program as rapidly as I can,” he added.

Sallee also suggested that the drones could be used to give homeless people updates or orders about the pandemic, since many of them may not have access to the Internet and may be unaware of the current situation.

“We need to tell them we actually have resources for them—they are vulnerable right now. It might be impractical or unsafe for our officers to be put into those areas,” Sallee said.

Spencer Gore, chief executive of Impossible Aerospace, a California-based maker of high-performance drones used by first responders, admitted that the idea “seems a little Orwellian,” but insisted that it could “save lives.”

“What we saw in China, and what we’re probably going to see around the world, is using drones with cameras and loudspeakers to fly around to see if people are gathering where they shouldn’t be, and telling them to go home,” Gore said.

I can see it coming. People are going to accept these things as the “new normal” and we need them to “keep us safe” from imaginary enemies that the state makes up. It feels very surreal. The American people are cheering on their own enslavement.
