IS ISRAEL’S IRON DOME A HOAX?
As this “war” between Israel and Hamas drags on, I’m starting to see a bigger picture unfold. In the video below you’ll see compelling evidence that Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system may be just a very expensive fireworks system, designed to put on a show and give the populace a false senses of security. A 107mm katusha rocket only has a short burst of propellant to get it going and on it’s trajectory, not gonna see a trail behind it unless your close to the location it was fired. Not sure what the range is off the top of my head it can be googled I’m sure. Some of the main fob’s in Iraq had the c-ram systems. I think the were 20mm Vulcan cannons with radar. They would try and intercept rockets and mortar rounds with them. Idk how effective they were, was hardly ever on a fob. Way cheaper to operate than the iron dome I would imagine. The rounds would also self destruct like the iron dome missiles. But yea it def looks like those missiles are just self detonating once the propellant is gone, not intercepting a rocket. Most of the videos I’ve seen of them being used the missiles all seem to have generally the same amount of flight time before they explode, maybe makes sense if it’s intercepting a salvo of rockets coming from the same launcher. I’ve seen videos of hammas show casing some katushas, which aren’t super destructive to hard structures , they fling out like a dozen or so 2×10 inch pieces of shrapnel when they impact. About the same crater as a 82mm mortar round more or less. Also seen the diy glorified bottle rockets too. Iron dome is overkill and super expensive to operate. Does it work? Idk, maybe. Is it used as stated in this video, to instill a constant level of fear, of course it is. Just my two cents guys
