Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry declared a 30-day state of emergency on September 23, 2026, to address record diesel prices that have reached $6.03 per gallon, more than double the cost farmers anticipated in their 2026 harvest budgets.
The emergency order, effective through October 22, 2026, allows farmers and timber harvesters to use dyed (off-road) diesel in highway-registered vehicles, temporarily suspending penalties for mixing fuel types to ensure immediate availability during peak harvest.
Some farmers are also openly warning of famine IN AMERICA and the world now because so many farmers have to leave their crops to rot. They simply can’t afford the diesel fuel needed to run their machinery to harvest their crops. They would lose money.

Yesterday we talked about the logistics of transporting food without diesel, it’s not going to happen and the stores will start running out of things fast. However, not enough people understand that EVERYTHING in America runs on diesel including power plants, refineries and more.
In this video by Modern Refugee, argues that modern society in the West is heavily dependent on diesel fuel to function. The core premise is that electricity and gasoline cannot be maintained without the logistics supported by diesel-powered equipment.
Key takeaways include:
Infrastructure dependence: The power grid relies on diesel-powered trucks and machinery for repairs and maintenance after disruptions like storms (1:08–2:30).
Fuel delivery: Gasoline itself requires diesel-powered transport to reach gas stations, farms, and construction sites (2:32–3:12).
Economic interconnectedness: Essential services and consumer goods—including groceries, medical supplies, ambulances, and large-scale shipping freighters—all rely on diesel for transport and operation (3:57–4:57).
Call for preparedness: Given current concerns over fuel price spikes, supply chain disruptions, and potential shortages, the creator advises viewers to stock up on essential goods and utilities at home, noting that the situation may be a long-term issue (4:58–7:20).
There is no solving this problem politically. There isn’t going to be any reprieve for America or any other nation. The world is under judgement and it will soon face God’s wrath.
But we as believers in Christ are not to worry and in fact this morning I was shown 2 Peter 2: 6-9 to help build my faith. I prefer the NLT translation for these scriptures as it makes it clear that the Lord will see us through our fiery trials.
6 Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people.
7 But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him.
8 Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day.
9 So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
As we always say on this website PRAYED UP and PREPPED UP! This is your last call to gather the supplies you need for the coming storm! Revelation 6: 6-8 is playing out in front of us right now! Seek Jesus Christ now while He can still be found! Time isn’t short anymore, time is UP!
