God is Speaking, are you Listening?
WAIT A MINUTE!
This is interesting! Three storms named Rachel, Simon, and Isaias are reportedly being tracked at the same time right now! And look at what their names mean!
Rachel means “sheep.”
Simon means “to hear” or “to listen.”
Isaias means “The LORD is my salvation.”
Put those three names together and you get: “Sheep, listen! The LORD is my salvation!”
Now think about what Jesus said in John 10:27: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
God has given us eyes to see and ears to hear! He’s always speaking, always revealing Himself through His creation, His Word, and the things happening around us. But the question is, are we listening? Are we paying attention? Are we actually looking for Him?
Sometimes we’re so distracted by the noise of this world that we miss what’s right in front of us. Jesus said, “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 11:15)
I’m not claiming to know that God intentionally arranged these storms to send this message, but I do know this: God is always worthy of our attention, and His Word is calling us to listen! His sheep hear His voice, and salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone!
