A longtime friend of mine is a decent sized farmer in North Dakota and he called me the other night after I sent him an article about farmers facing 70% fertilizer prices increases and drought. Read that here. He said that he agreed with it 100% and that he’s starting the year “upside down” financially because of the huge increase in the price of fuel, fertilizer and chemical.

He said the really sad part was the fact that the smaller farms are all going bankrupt because they can’t absorb the price increases and stay in the black. They’re in a deep hole that they just can’t dig themselves out of and it breaks my heart as well. I know some of these folks personally. I sold them propane, fuel, oil, filters, tires almost anything they needed to operate except for seed and chemicals. I sold to the big and small guys alike and it hurts to think of people I knew and in some cases became good friends with suffer like this. Prior to that I sold them pick up trucks for years.

While I’ve lost touch with most of them I’m sure we’d pick up right where we left off and talk about some better times we had in the past. My friend and I talked about our plinking with 22s contest we had years ago and we still share laughs about it and we still dispute who actually won (hint it was me lol).

The farming crisis is very real and everyone needs to keep praying and prepping the best that you’re able and understand that hard times are coming, this is the GREAT tribulation and it’s just getting started. I would expect the intensity of everything to increase exponentially from here. Revelation 6 vs 5-6 is happening NOW.
