BREAKING: ICE recording and taking pictures of anti-ICE protestors for national domestic terrorist database
Video emerged today of an ICE agent, during Operation Catch of the Day in Portland, Maine, telling an anti-ICE protester he is recording her and others to add to a “database” to be “considered “domestic terrorists.”
Border Czar Tom Homan announced on Jan. 15 a plan to create a public database targeting individuals who interfere with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations during anti-deportation protests.
The initiative aims to document and publicize the names, faces, and other details of those arrested for actions like obstruction, interference, or assault on ICE agents, with the goal of making them “famous” by broadcasting this information on TV and notifying their employers, neighborhoods, and schools, Homan shared.
Homan described the initiative as a deterrent, in a Fox News interview explaining that many protesters might be calling in sick to work without their bosses knowing, and emphasized that the database would expose such behavior to hold people accountable.
This policy emerged amid escalating protests against the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts, specifically after the fatal shooting of Renee Good on January 7, 2026.
No official rollout details have been released, but Homan has indicated that the database is in development, ahead of ICE surging resources into sanctuary cities.

This is exactly what I’ve been talking about ever since this ICE crackdown began. ICE was never just about deporting dangerous illegal immigrants. All it takes is some simple Google searching to find out that the Trump administration is deporting more families including women and children than they are actual dangerous criminals.
The administration asserts that its enforcement targets criminals, not families. DHS reports that under Trump, border apprehensions have dropped sharply and the number of unaccompanied minors crossing the border has reached a record low—falling to just 0.4% of illegal crossings in early 2025, down from 4.6% under Biden.
However, government data shows a gap between rhetoric and reality. As of June 2025, 71.7% of ICE detainees had no criminal convictions, and 84% were not assigned a threat level, suggesting many are not dangerous. Critics argue that the broad enforcement sweeps affect families, women, and long-term residents, not just criminals.
While the administration emphasizes high-profile raids on criminal networks, evidence indicates that the majority of those detained are not violent offenders, raising concerns about the impact on vulnerable populations, including women and children.
