And I pray that I will see him sooner rather than later. He was my best friend for the past 15+ years. 

I was able to get in one last praise, worship and prayer session with him yesterday. he was too weak to get off the bed and take his usual spot on the tote by the window, so I brought the Bible and prayer book over to the bed and sat with him over there instead.

Jack loved it when I read scriptures to him and yesterday as I was reading to him, he put his paw on my hand and squeezed it one last time. He always knew who Jesus was, and he always responded to his name whenever I mentioned it. Jack was one of a kind.

Now I’m asking for prayers for our 13 year-old cat Pip. He is such a sweet boy and he has just lost his sister squeaky in June, and now his brother Jack, who he’s never been without yesterday.

He’s very depressed not even purring today. So please say a prayer prayer for Pip if you would and thank you for all the prayers you sent my way for Jack Lisa, and myself.

I think one of the hardest things is it was just four months ago I was sitting on the floor in front of Lisa on her chair and all the cats were gathered around us and I said I sure love our little family. Now it’s almost gone.

I used to love the fact that all of our cats were around the same age within a few years of each other. Now I’m not so sure that was such a good thing.

Thank you All once again for the prayers. It was nice that we were able to get a vet to come to the house as it was much easier on Jack and us and I held him in my arms until he passed. I was the one who brought him home back in July 2011, so it was right that I was the one to send him home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2026 at 5:36 PM
