Hey folks I just wanted to let everyone know that unless something earth shattering happens I’m going to take a few days off. My wife Lisa and I haven’t done much together outside of our home in years due to the severe gut issues I’ve had for awhile. Now that the situation is 95% better we’re going to do some exploring.

It’s also our birthday weekend and we usually try to do something fun during that time. Having my wife’s birthday the day after mine is nice and it means I won’t forget and get in trouble lol. I’ll be hitting 59 this year, one year away from hitting the weird 60s. I say that because people tell me hitting 60 feels weird, so I’ll go with it.

It may also be one of the last chances we get to do something while it’s still relatively calm, which can change at any moment as we all know. It would be nice to take a weeks long vacation but that’s not affordable for us these days. Actually we haven’t done anything like that sine 2014.
