The FBI Says Ransomware Gang BREACHED 52 CRITICAL US INFRASTRUCTURE ORGANIZTIONS

Gee how convenient just as the shooting part of the war kicks into high gear over in Europe, it appears that a ransomware gang has gained access to 52 different critical US Infrastructure organizations! Here is more from Bleepingcomputer.com.

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says the Ragnar Locker ransomware gang has breached the networks of at least 52 organizations from multiple US critical infrastructure sectors.

This was revealed in a joint TLP:WHITE flash alert published on Monday in coordination with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

“As of January 2022, the FBI has identified at least 52 entities across 10 critical infrastructure sectors affected by RagnarLocker ransomware, including entities in the critical manufacturing, energy, financial services, government, and information technology sectors,” the federal law enforcement agency said [PDF].

“RagnarLocker ransomware actors work as part of a ransomware family, frequently changing obfuscation techniques to avoid detection and prevention.”

The flash alert focuses on providing indicators of compromise (IOCs) organizations can use to detect and block Ragnar Locker ransomware attacks.

IOCs associated with Ragnar Locker activity include info on attack infrastructure, Bitcoin addresses used to collect ransom demands, and email addresses used by the gang’s operators.

Although the FBI first became aware of Ragnar Locker in April 2020, Ragnar Locker ransomware payloads were first observed in attacks months before, during late December 2019.

Ragnar Locker operators terminate remote management software (e.g., ConnectWise, Kaseya) used by managed service providers (MSPs) to manage clients’ systems remotely on compromised enterprise endpoints.

This allows the threat actors to evade detection and make sure remotely logged-in admins do not interfere with or block the ransomware deployment process. Source link CLICK HERE.

Blackout in PaKISTAN lEAVES 200 mILLION WITHOUT POWER

 A failure in Pakistan’s national power grid left more than 200 million people without electricity Saturday, local officials said.

The widespread blackout happened just before midnight, plunging the major cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar into darkness, Energy Minister Omar Ayub said. He added that mobile and Internet services also were affected.

Ayub said the power grid failed after high transmission lines tripped, causing the frequency in the distribution system to drop suddenly from 50 to zero. Officials said it could take several hours for power to be restored.

“Systematic restoration of power will be initiated soon,” representatives from the Energy Ministry said. “Once the initial frequency is met, the restoration work speeds up.”

“People are urged to remain patient,” Ayub said.

The electrical grid in the United States will go down at some point and it’s already begun. In California they are having regular blackouts thanks to the record setting heat wave and drought. From Reuters:

Sept 5 (Reuters) – The California Independent System Operator (ISO) declared a “Stage 2” power emergency late on Saturday, warning that rotating power outages were possible amid a record heat wave.

A Stage 2 power emergency means the ISO has taken all mitigating actions but can no longer provide its expected energy requirements.

Temperatures of up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (49 Celsius) were set to punish California through the Labor Day weekend, raising the risk of wildfires and rolling blackouts.

California Governor Gavin Newsom on Friday declared a state of emergency, a proclamation that allows power plants to operate beyond normal limits through the three-day holiday weekend.

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast a heat wave carrying “rare, dangerous and very possibly fatal” temperatures across Southern California for the holiday weekend.

State officials urged Californians to turn off unnecessary appliances and lights to help avoid blackouts from an overwhelmed power grid.”

Not only that but we have DHS warnings of an EMP attack on the US right before the elections on Nov. 3rd. Here’s part of the report from Zerohedge:

DHS’s warning published Thur. (Sept. 2), or about 60 days until the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 3, indicates there are “evolving threats against the American homeland, most recently highlighting efforts to combat an Electromagnetic Pulse attack which could disrupt the electrical grid and potentially damage electronics.”

The department released an EMP status report via the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) that said the “key actions to address known EMP-related vulnerabilities to critical infrastructure.”

Last but NOT least is the fact China has been planning an EMP attack on America for some time now. They experts claim it would kill millions of Americans as there would be no running water, sewer systems etc. Starvation and disease will settle in and America will be dark as Chinese troops invade. CHINA may be plotting to use an electromagnetic pulse weapon that would plunge the US into darkness and kill hundreds of millions, a new report has warned.

Campaign group the EMP Task Force on Homeland and National Security released the paper which details the threat that it warns could come in the form of a nuclear strike from space.

Task force executive director Dr Peter Pry penned the report – first released on June 10 – which warns of a possible “Pearl Harbor-style” preemptive strike in a confrontation between the US and China.

It comes as relations between the two powers remain frosty amid the coronavirus pandemic, which President Donald Trump continues to blame on China.

EMPs use low-yield nuclear weapons detonated in the atmosphere to create a wave of energy that fries electronic equipment and may knock out the power grid.

With no power, the nation would be plunged into chaos which could lead to rioting and famine – potentially killing millions.

contact tracing apps turn into PROTESTER tracing apps

The police state continues to expand and they’re using the Covid hoax to expand their powers even more. “Contact Tracing”, which was forced upon us because of “public health” is now being used to track protesters or arrestees to track them everywhere they go (no talk of getting a warrant or warrants). Here is some insight from privateiblog;

Countless warnings about how law enforcement could use contact-tracing apps to monitor people have gone unheeded.  
As BGR.comrevealed police are using contact tracing to identify protester’s affiliations.

“According to Minnesota Public Safety Commissioner John Harringon, officials there have been using what they describe, without going into much detail, as contact-tracing in order to build out a picture of protestor affiliations — a process that officials in the state say has led them to conclude that much of the protest activity there is being fueled by people from outside coming in.”

A Twitter feed titled “Minnesota Contact Tracing” revealed how police are using contact tracing to identify and arrest protesters. “Minnesota Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington says they’ve begun contact tracing arrestees.” 

Recently, 100 human rights groups warned that an Apple-Google contact tracing app could be used as a cover to identify activists and minorities.

“An increase in state digital surveillance powers, such as obtaining access to mobile phone location data, threatens privacy, freedom of expression and freedom of association, in ways that could violate rights and degrade trust in public authorities—undermining the effectiveness of any public health response. Such measures also pose a risk of discrimination and may disproportionately harm already marginalized communities.”

So despite all assurances to the contrary, it appears that 100 human rights groups were right; law enforcement can and will use contact tracing to identify protesters.

According to an article in The Detroit News, police can identify anonymous protesters cell phones.

“The tracking, known as geoharvesting, is when data is gathered from a smartphone app on a device connected to the internet. That data contains geolocation information that can be queried to show movement on a map.”

“The cellphone users remained anonymous and their locations were instead culled from the publishers of the opt-in apps they were using, said McEwan, CEO of the Austin-based startup Datum that is the parent company under which VoteMap falls. People gauging cellphone locations the day of the April 30 protest and the day after would not be able to see to whom the phone belonged,” she said. (To find out more about VoteMap click here.)

As NBC Newsnoted, contact tracers also use geofencing to help identify protesters.

“Geofencing” captures the social media posts of people entering a specific area. The technology locates any cellphones that cross into the area by locking onto their geolocation systems, and then records social media posts and sometimes other data from the phones.”

Big Tech’s hands are dirty with Federal money paying for new ways to monitor Americans.

A recent Business Insiderarticle describes how police use Big Tech to monitor activists and protesters the moment they walk out their door.

“Law enforcement agencies have made full use of high-tech surveillance tools as protests sweep the country following the death of George Floyd. A predator drone operated by Customs and Border Patrol circled above protesters in Minneapolis.”

Buzzfeed Newswarns, “law enforcement has a wide breadth of surveillance technologies that could be used to monitor and target protesters — including controversial facial recognition software Clearview AI, license plate readers, body cameras, and video analysis tools.”  Read more HERE.

I think you get the picture. Google, Apple and the governments of the world have set up the means to monitor us 24-7 and they’re using the Covid hoax to do it. Soon they will use it to monitor those who won’t take the vaccine and eventually such a system will see who has the “mark” and who does not. You’ve been warned.

Prepping For A No Running Water Scenario

We have had some water issues here on our rented ranch home this past week. There are water lines for the horses that get chewed through by voles at times (life in the country) but yesterday the well pump just went “poof”. There was no water for the entire ranch including the horses.

Of course as luck would have it the way the pump has to come out requires a larger truck than they had on hand, so we won’t have a new one until Monday at the earliest. Thankfully my wife and I stay prepared for this type of scenario. Here are a few things we always keep on hand.

  1. Keep water on hand at all times! We use cat litter jugs (washed out) to keep toilet and cleaning water on hand. We also keep 10 gallons of drinking water on hand at all times.
  2. Water Filtration. We have a Big Berkey water system but we also have the straws and water filter bottles on hand for bugging out. The straws and water bottles are the most cost effective way to filter water if you can’t afford a Big Berkey. You may still have to boil your water first depending on what scenario you’re dealing with. Below is a picture of what the Life straw water bottles looks like.
  3. Back up Plan. We have a back up plan to deal with this very situation and it’s working well. One thing we’ve done is to know where else we could get water if our backup plan failed. We’re near a lot of RV campgrounds and RV fill stations and we have several we could go to if necessary.

This is a short list and covers the very basics but having that water on hand was critical to not being panicked but rather ready to handle the situation. If I were you I’d start preparing NOW for a no running water scenario. You’ll have to adapt your strategy for your own living situation. I’m in the country so if I lived in the city I’d have to make a different plan.
