They have taken my voice
I just recorded a video based on my previous post but I have no sound on the video. Apparently they’ve shut the microphones off on my computer with an attack of some kind and I have no idea how to fix it.
I will have to work on it later because I have a dental appt. to go to in a little bit. Please pray that I can get it fixed as I can’t afford another PC at this time after the $1200 we just spent on my wife’s car.

Something very similar actually happened to me not long ago. I suddenly had no sound/microphone working on my computer. I ended up troubleshooting it with the help of AI. It turned out that an audio setting in my control panel had somehow been turned off, and I also had to restart a process related to the audio system.
To be honest, I’m not exactly sure what specific step fixed it, but the AI walked me through it step-by-step. I simply described the problem and told it the make and model of my laptop, and it guided me through checking the settings and restarting the audio service.
It might be worth trying that when you get a moment — sometimes it’s just a hidden setting that gets switched off.
