Don't Speak News

Today I turned 56 years old and I realized that’s about how long it’s taken for society in America and the West to be utterly destroyed. We can debate the year the culture slide began but the sexual revolution of the 60’s was a large part of the slide downhill.

I was born in 1967, at the height of the hippie and free love movement. I grew up in the upper Midwest which was farm country and I can remember when the first mall opened up in 1974. We used to play “ditch” where you hid in someone’s backyard and tried to make it back to home base without getting tagged. If kids did that today they run the risk of being shot as everyone has become paranoid and divided. No one loves their neighbors anymore and in many cases they don’t even know who they are.

Of course that was predicted by Jesus when He said “Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:12 I like the NLT translation for this scripture because sin IS RAMPANT EVERYWHERE, especially here in America where we now have tranny storybook hours at schools. Isaiah 5:20 comes to mind with the trannies and the teaching of the “gay culture” in public schools. Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! That’s how I KNEW the end times and tribulation were here as now we have parents ENCOURAGING their kids to get sex changes. It’s beyond disgusting!

We also didn’t have a “nanny state” when I grew up. If you went outside and got hurt you got cleaned up, band aid thrown on and you got back to playing. Unless something was broken we didn’t stop and we didn’t wear any kind of sissy bicycle helmets. Yes I realize it’s safer to use one but we had never even HEARD of such a thing. We also had lawn darts which were fun, and yes they were dangerous but only to those who have no common sense. Sadly the kids today would probably have some kind of Tic Tok challenge to see if a bicycle helmet would stop a lawn dart. Sigh….

No one is coming to save America and the only “great awakening” there will be won’t happen until Jesus Christ returns. When that actually happens there will be no doubt in anyone’s mind as to who it is as there will be a great mourning as the world at large has rejected Him. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:30

Ok my rant is over for now but I’ve had some of this pent up for a bit. But today is my birthday and tomorrow is my wife Lisa’s birthday (easy for me to remember right?) and I’m going to spend some time gardening and maybe some reading for enjoyment instead of just research (who am I kidding?). I’m definitely spending some time outside as it’s not 100 degrees plus outside today. Then tomorrow I will let my wife decide what she’d like to do. Blessings to you all.
