Hey Johnny, The ice melt of the Arctic is the cyclical Beaufort Gyre. Many fresh water eddies have been observed and that indicates fresh water moving into the Labrador current. This will slow down the warm water escalator that moves heated water from the Gulf of Mexico to Europe.
