Russian Iskander Missiles Target Lithuania While US Abrams Tanks sit on the Border with Russia
All of this action comes after the Russian MOD and MOFA both issued statements saying that Russia and the USA are on the verge of all out war including nuclear weapons! Here is my video on that subject.
Next up is an article from Warnews 247 and it explains how close the Baltics are to exploding with war as well! Guys this will all happen at once! Please keep praying and prepping!
US M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks as well as an unknown number of M2 Bradley armored personnel carriers are being moved by Lithuania to the border with Russia in the shadow of Russian ballistic missile exercises aimed at Vilnius and Poland.
At the same time, the Russians launched heavy cyber attacks against the state-owned energy company Ignitis of Lithuania.
We had reported since yesterday that it is only a matter of time before Russian cyberattacks begin in Lithuania.
The biggest cyber attack in a decade
Lithuania’s state-owned energy group Ignitis said it suffered “the biggest cyber attack of the last decade”.
Ignitis said it suffered DDoS attacks, which affected the operation of its websites and digital services. However, the attacks were brought under control by noon on Saturday.
“There were no recorded system intrusions or other adverse effects, ” the agency said in a statement.
Later, Ignitis resumed digital services but the cyber attack continued.
“We have experienced intense DDoS attacks over the past two weeks. We see that when individual attacks fail, hackers choose us as a single target and mobilize all their capabilities,” said Edvinas Kerza
“Besides the fact that we have practically become the only target under attack in Lithuania, new, invisible botnets have been activated, clogging the channels of Internet service providers,” he added.
Lithuanian institutions and businesses have been hit by wide-ranging cyber attacks since late June, when the country began implementing EU sanctions on transit to Kaliningrad.
Lithuanian officials say the Killnet hackers are behind the attack. On Saturday, the group announced their attack on Ignitis Group’s ESO subsidiary on Telegram.
M1A2 Abrams and BMP Bradley on the border with Russia
Russian media reports that after the blockade of transit to the Kaliningrad region began, Lithuania deployed M1A2 Abrams tanks to the border.
In the context of a direct confrontation between Russia and Lithuania, due to Vilnius’ reluctance to provide access to transit goods in the Kaliningrad region, it became known that Lithuania has deployed at least 15 American M1A2 Abrams tanks to the border with Russia. as well as an unknown number of M2 Bradley armored personnel carriers.
In the videos, you can see the moment of the transfer of M2 Bradley armored personnel carriers and American M1A2 Abrams tanks to the border with the Kaliningrad region.
Judging by the video, the train consists of 15 M1A2 Abrams tanks and at least 4 M2 Bradley armored personnel carriers.
The deployment of this military equipment on the border with Russia is apparently an attempt by Lithuania to create provocations, especially against the background of recent statements by Vilnius that the crossing to the Kaliningrad region will be blocked even despite the position of the European Commission, which previously tried to persuade Lithuania to lift the embargo on goods “from Russia to Russia”.
At the same time, the United States deployed at least four F-35 fighter jets to Ämari Air Base, near Tallinn, Estonia.
Russian analysts draw attention to the fact that NATO is actively increasing its presence in the Baltic countries. This has been particularly highlighted in recent weeks.
According to the data presented, four F-35 fighters of the US Air Force landed at the Emari air base, where, among others, there are also fighters of other NATO countries such as French Mirage 2000 and Belgian F-16.
Among other things, the presence of additional forces of NATO countries was also recorded in Estonia, while a day earlier the American missile destroyer DDG 51 Arleigh Burke, armed with 90 Tomahawk cruise missiles, was spotted in the Baltic.
War alert of Russian Baltic forces
The Russian forces based in Kaliningrad have been on war alert for about a month. There are ongoing exercises of the Baltic Fleet along with missile forces, Air Force and Marines.
Today, Russia’s Baltic Fleet announced training crews of Iskander ballistic systems in the Kaliningrad region using mock missiles against a hypothetical enemy. The targets were Poland and Lithuania.
“More than 100 male military personnel participated in the exercise along with 20 units of military and special equipment, ” the press service of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation said.
“As part of the planned training, the ballistic missiles were deployed at the dispersal sites in predetermined areas.
They then conducted electronic single and group launches (barrages) against targets such as missile launchers, airfields, protected targets, concentrations of military equipment and command posts of a virtual enemy.”
“After electronic launches, in order to escape a possible retaliatory strike, military personnel maneuvered to change the position area.”
Yesterday, the Baltic fleet announced the start of comprehensive combat readiness exercises involving ships, aircraft, air defense forces and ground units, while live-fire exercises are planned at training fields near Kaliningrad.
“The events involved naval formations and units, Marines, Army Corps units, naval aviation, fleet air defense units, fleet service units and other units.”
On July 7, Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopters conducted an exercise in the Baltic Sea to search, track and destroy a virtual enemy submarine.
On June 30, Russian ships in the Baltic Sea practiced repelling an air attack from a virtual enemy with real AK-630 and AK-176 shots against aerial targets
The Baltic Fleet has two main bases, in Baltiysk (Kaliningrad region) and Kronstand (Leningrad region).
In the Kaliningrad region, the Russian military has modern “Bal” and “Bastion” anti-ship systems, as well as long-range S-400 “Triumph” air defense systems.
