On the one hand we have the so called “nuclear 5” issuing a joint statement today affirming their joint opposition to offensive use (or first use) of nuclear weapons and agreed to work towards joint disarmament.

We affirm that a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought,” read the statement released on Monday. “As nuclear use would have far-reaching consequences, we also affirm that nuclear weapons – for as long as they continue to exist – should serve defensive purposes, deter aggression, and prevent war.”

Meanwhile behind the scenes of the tensions between the USA and Russia over Ukraine, Hal Turner Radio is reporting that Russian President Putin told Biden that if severe sanctions are imposed on Russia over Ukraine, Russia would consider that an ACT OF WAR. Putin went on to lament “I hope our descendants don’t judge us badly by it.”

President Biden warned Putin of severe sanctions and consequences if Russia invaded Ukraine, while Putin warned Biden if the USA enters on the side of Ukraine then all of the landmass of the United States, it’s naval ships and it’s military aircraft would become legitimate targets.

Biden is scheduled to have a phone call with Ukraine President Zelensky later today.

Interesting times we live in wouldn’t you say? These governments always say one thing and then go and do the OPPOSITE OF WHAT THEY SAID! Can we really trust the “Nuclear 5” and their joint statement? The pattern over the last 2 years have been to say one thing and do the opposite so NO I will not trust their joint statement and I will continue to pray and prep for the worst. Remember put not your trust in men.
