what i learned from walking into a rainbow

I had quite the experience the other day when I almost tripped over the most brilliant rainbow I have ever seen! I have never seen one that close before and if you look closely it’s actually a double rainbow! So what did I learn from walking into a rainbow? Check it out below!

As I was doing a little lighthearted research on rainbows in the Bible I found that there wasn’t just Genesis 9 but rainbows are EVERYWHERE and I never knew how important of a symbol they are in scripture until now. For example Revelation 10:1 says this: Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire.” Here we get a look at a rainbow in a fearsome context as this was the angel to whom the seven thunders spoke, after he roared like a lion!

Ezekiel 1:28 says it this way “Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.” Here we see the brightness of the rainbow compared to the appearance of the Lord God Himself!

I could go on but I’ll just leave you the link to the 97 verses I found! Most of them talk about God’s covenant, love and provision for us which are important reminders to build our faith up in these dark times! You can find them all at this LINK HERE. Below is the video I put on the main channel to make it easier to find. God bless and have a great weekend!
